The popular HBO series' creator, Darren Star, has snatched up the rights to "Lipstick Jungle," the latest book by Candace Bushnell (above), two months before it even hits shelves. Star, who's now working on "Kitchen Confidential" for Fox, is said to be adapting "Lipstick Jungle" for a TV show that will be like "Sex" but have older characters. It's the story of three powerful New York women — a fashion editor, a fashion designer and a producer — and their love lives. Production should start next year.
