HOLIDAY N's DIET CHALLENGE (HOW THE CELEBS DO IT)Most of us have an unhealthy and/or unrealistic view of the "perfect body", Everyone has flaws including the celebs whom we 9 times out 10 seem to always compare ourselves to.Even though we all know that most of Hollywood's finest have had work done and hire really expensive trainers and diet experts and yet we still find ourselves saying we wish we had Beyonce's this,Pamela Anderson's that or Whoopi Goldberg's...well we probably never say that one but you get the flick.
So for those of you(me included) that still look at that magazine comparing ourselves to the perfect airbrushing of an A-Lister..here's some diet tips from the stars:
Janet worksout 6 days a week, which consists of dancing, running, basketball and football drills. She works on her Abs 6 days a week also. Janet cuts out most carbohydrates, dairy, sweets, and fattening foods, until the ideal weight is reached.
"I am not naturally skinny. I am a real woman, I’ve got curves," Knowles said.
Beyonce has hired a personal nutritionist to travel with her around the world and prepare her low fat, low carbohydrate meals, in a bid to keep her figure as trim as possible.
She also works out in the gym five days a week and loves running and yoga.
Usher's diet for his North American tour was so strict, he's not even allowed to eat carrots or corn.
While the 25-year-old YEAH! singer is allowed to enjoy a range of other vegetables, sugary carrots and starchy corn are definitely off the list.
He says, "I have a nutritionist, and I keep to a very strict diet. You know, I take vitamins, ginseng and echinacea.
"Normally it's chicken, fish - and sometimes, sometimes, maybe on an off day, beef. But mainly on this tour I'll be doing chicken, fish, light fruit, something like maybe cantaloupe or watermelon.
"Salads, dark salads, not light salads like your romaine lettuce, but a mixed green salad, something like that. Spinach, no carrots, no corn. As I said, a very strict."
Usher's been workin' on his abs since he was 16, but claims that it's all because of good genes , hard work and being disciplined - oh yeah, and 1,000 crunches a day. Usher also has a daily routine he calls "forty minutes of funk" which includes stretchin', skippin' and jumping jacks. Then he moves onto push-ups, leg raises and tricep dips.
Jessica Simpson started a new exercise routine to get in shape for her role as Daisy Duke in the Dukes of Hazard movie. Her workout includes two hours a day of squats and lunges and has motivated her to create a new workout
Courtesy of Warnervideo. "I have a white-girl bootie, so I'm doing all my squats to lift it a little bit and get some junk in my trunk," says Jessica. While Jessica may have a bit more junk in her trunk, she's still dealing with a lot of fluff between her ears.
Angelina Jolie had to do a ton of physical preparation for the role of Lara Croft in Tomb Raider. Angelina was on a strict, heavy protein diet of meat and fish like sardines! Angelina learned kickboxing and practiced it regularly. She also learned bungee ballet, scuba diving and weapons training, months before the flick started filming. She's definitely the star that keeps me working out.
