GOSSIP 2 GO 9/29

Star Jones, who grated on the nerves of viewers and E! execs by continually promoting her wedding last year, made her final appearance as the cable channel's red carpet reporter at the Emmys this month.
The option in her contract for another year was not picked up. "One year was enough," one insider said.
Jones claims the decision was hers, and told The Post last week she'll be too busy promoting her book, "Shine: A Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual Journey to Finding Love" (Collins), due out Jan. 6.
The tome is about her meeting and mating with hubby Al Reynolds.
"I couldn't make any commitments next year beyond supporting the book and doing 'The View,' " Star said. "I want to make sure I do my everyday job very well."
The insider added: "If E! were smart, they would put Kathy on the red carpet to interact with the celebs instead of on the bridge just commenting on them. She is comedy gold and even if she upsets people — so what? Joan Rivers always p - - - ed people off, but they always came back."

TARA Reid is still living down the time one of her breasts popped out of her dress on the red carpet at Diddy's 35th birthday bash last year. The star of the recently canceled E! show "Taradise" tells FHM: "People act like it was the worst crime in the world. It was a mistake, you know! But you would think my boob had popped out and shot Gandhi! My hooters are under control. I'm taped up now, totally. I'm using double tape. Double, double tape. My boobs are going nowhere again." But it's possible we might get to see Reid's surgically enhanced assets in Playboy. The D-cup dipsomaniac claims the mag has offered "millions" for her to do a nude spread.

OMAHRYA, the pierced and tattooed runway rebel who's injected some excitement into the modeling world in recent years, will play a mutant in "X-Men 3." The dishy Dominican is in Vancouver shooting the third installment of the superhero franchise. Omahrya previously appeared in "X-3" director Brett Ratner's "After the Sunset" and Damon Dash's "State Property 2." Ratner, who has always had an appreciation for models, let her fly back to New York to walk in Gwen Stefani's L.A.M.B. launch on the last night of Fashion Week.

The Post spotted BEYONCÉ ordering a foot-long chili dog, fries and a chocolate milkshake while lunching at Serendipity 3, much to the amusement of boyfriend Jay-Z.
I guess she's the Hip(s) to Jay-z's Hop.

According to, Harlem rapper Cam’ron, a.k.a. Cameron Giles, has filed suit against the singer alleging copyright infringement for the 2003 “Snake Remix,” which Cam claims to have co-written.
The lawsuit comes days after Kelly’s wife, Andrea, dropped an order of protection against her husband, whom she had originally accused of physical abuse, harassment, stalking and interfering with her personal liberty.
As previously reported, Andrea’s lawyer Nathan Swerdlove suggested that the Kellys may now be working toward a reconciliation.
“They had a squabble – and how many marriages don't have that sort of thing?" Swerdlove told the Chicago Sun Times. "They're trying to work things out, and they'd like to do it privately.”

J Records' "So Amazing: An All-Star Tribute to Luther Vandross" – with covers by Usher, Fantasia, Wyclef, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder and others – jumps onto the Billboard 200 chart at No. 4 with sales of 104,000 copies. The album’s chart entry is the highest debut and the highest number of units sold in its first week for a tribute album in Nielson SoundScan history.

Usher has announced that he will headline Project Restart — a benefit concert for the victims of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita on October 9 in Atlanta, GA. The too hot Grammy Award winning singer will perform several songs at the concert and will bring some of his celebrity friends to make special guest appearances, according to his publicist, Simone Smalls. With the help of corporate sponsors and civil leaders, Usher is inviting 5000 Katrina and Rita evacuees who were relocated to Georgia to attend the concert for free. The remaining tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public Friday, September 30 at 10:00 AM via Ticketmaster. A limited number of corporate suites and VIP seats will be available. All proceeds will benefit the Project Restart objective — which is to provide a temporary solution to the homelessness crisis that arose due to the tragedy.

*Will 50 Cent’s rap rivals venture out to see his new film, “Get Rich or Die Tryin’?” One 50 nemesis, Ja Rule, tells the New York Daily News: "I always study the enemy, so I might check it out. But it looks kinda bull."

LONDON (Reuters) - A documentary is set to show footage of British supermodel Kate Moss which Sky One says shows her snorting cocaine, as the furor over her alleged drug taking which cost her lucrative advertising deals refuses to go away.
Moss has been embroiled in scandal since The Mirror tabloid newspaper printed grainy pictures two weeks ago that apparently showed the 31-year-old taking drugs.
British retailer Burberry and Swedish-based fashion house Hennes & Mauritz responded by cutting their contracts with the model and France's Chanel said it would not renew her contract when it expires next month.
Moss released a statement apologizing to friends, family and business associates for her behavior.
Sky One said its documentary "Kate Moss: Fashion Victim?" would provide a balanced debate over the role of the media and the fashion industry and ask whether Moss could continue her career.
"The documentary aims to paint an honest picture of the landscape that formed the backdrop to the saga and in a worldwide exclusive, features video footage of the widely-reported incident involving Moss and her self-confessed heroin addict boyfriend, Pete Doherty," Sky said.
Moss, who has a two-year-old daughter, was discovered by a modeling agency as a 14-year-old schoolgirl and her waifish good looks have graced the covers of countless magazines.
Although her statement made no specific reference to the Mirror report, she said she took full responsibility for her actions.
"I also accept that there are various personal issues that I need to address and have started taking the difficult, yet necessary, steps to resolve them," she said.
Her agent Sarah Doukas said Moss was "gutted, absolutely devastated", when she heard about the Mirror report.
"I read it over the phone to her and the avalanche started almost immediately," Doukas told the Times, in an interview granted at Moss' behest.
Doukas said her client had left Britain for the time being, and that despite recent career setbacks, she was about to sign a new deal with an unnamed perfume company.
The Sky One documentary will be shown on October 3.
