GOSSIP 2 GO 10/21

'American Idol' season three champ Fantasia Barrino is upset with '20/20' for claiming in commercials she cannot read or write. "In the book, I don't say that I can't read or I can't write, I say I have trouble - that I'm not a strong reader. But I can write," Fantasia told JET. "Of course I can write." Read more

The Houston Press caught up with Enrique Iglesias at his True Star cologne promotional visit at Foley's in the Galleria earlier this month. The singer joked, "The next product I'm gonna put my name on is extra-small condoms. I can never find extra-small condoms, and I know it's really embarrassing for people -- you know, from experience. Hopefully people won't be ashamed when I step forward." Read more.

NOTHING spells narcissism more than having your own face imprinted on your cast. At Sunday night's Mary J. Blige concert at Rose Hall at Time Warner Center, Missy Elliott went via wheelchair sporting a cast on her leg featuring her own portrait. Flanked by a small entourage, the hip-hop star arrived 30 minutes into the show "to avoid the celebrity crush on the red carpet," according to her handlers. Elliott "broke her leg dancing," spies say.

John Legend’s DVD "Live at the House of Blues," which captures an August performance at the Los Angeles venue, will be released on Dec. 6. The disc will also be available as a package with his Columbia album “Get Lifted.” "Live at the House of Blues" features performances of "Ordinary People" and "So High," plus "Number One" and "I Can Change," during which Kanye West and Snoop Dogg reprise their guest appearances from the studio versions. The show is rounded out by such new tracks as "Do It Again," "Medley" and "Selfish." Special features on the DVD include a making-of segment, an interview with Legend and behind-the-scenes footage.

Kanye West’s “Gold Digger” featuring Jamie Foxx remains at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart and Hot Ringtones chart for a seventh consecutive week. The single also tops the Pop 100 for a fifth week. Chris Brown’s “Run It!” moves up six spots to No. 2. The teen-aged Jive artist also holds down the chart’s greatest gainer for digital sales and airplay. Elsewhere in the top ten, The Black Eyed Peas' "My Humps" remains at No. 4 on the Hot 100 while Mariah Carey's "Shake It Off" falls 3-5. "Like You" by Bow Wow featuring Ciara slips 5-6 and Young Jeezy's "Soul Survivor" featuring Akon remains as No. 7. Ciara's "And I" debuts on the Hot 100 at No. 96 and Kanye West's "Hear 'Em Say" featuring Adam Levine enters at No. 100.

Victoria Beckham spiced up Wednesday night's Rock & Republic fashion show in L.A. when she reportedly screamed at designer Michael Ball before being dragged away by security.
Lowdown hears that soccer god David Beckham's wife, the former Posh Spice - who designed a jean collection for the celeb-studded event - threw a backstage tantrum when Ball informed her that her signature pants, with a crown embroidered on the arse, were out of the show.
"Are you gonna put it in? You're gonna put it in!" she screamed at Ball, according to a Lowdown spy.
"No, I'm not!" he shouted back.
"I don't know why I'm even asking you," she shrieked. "I'm a part-owner in this company!" Says the spy: "He finally called security, and they escorted her out."

Just a month after Britney had little Sean Preston extracted, she's slimmed down a lot and she's looking good. (She's also wearing a bra -- big news to those of us who grew tired of seeing her boobs flopping around.) Seeing as she had a C-section and hasn't been able to work out, how exactly did she lose the baby weight? Us revealed Brit's five get-slim strategies in their latest issue:
1. She's breastfeeding: Mothers can burn 500 calories a day nursing, and it seems to be working for Brit. "Her weight is almost coming off without her working out," said her spokeswoman.
2. No nanny? No problem: From washing to wiping to walking, Britney is reportedly doing all of the baby caretaking herself. Her mother, Lynne, has also been staying with them to help out. K-Fed, presumably, is doing nada.
3. Smart snacking: Buh-bye, Cheetos. Hello, Zone diet. Britney is eating a lot healthier, though on her recent day out she did munch on a hamburger and fries, with a regular Coke.
4. Getting physical: Because she had a cesarean, Britney still can't really work out for two more weeks. That's when she plans to start 90-minute sessions with her trainer. Thus far she's been walking and swimming.
5. Staying motivated: Britney used to be a size 6. She keeps that goal in her mind and she's determined to reach it.
