GOSSIP 2 GO 11/14LOW CASH FOR DASH??
IS Damon Dash running out of cash? The former Roc-A-Fella impresario has had a tough time coughing up the dough to buy a mansion in Miami. The 160,000-square-foot glass palace was built by Alan Lieberman, owner of the Catalina Hotel in South Beach (and Jason Binn's father-in-law). Dash fell for it at first sight, making an offer of $8.5 million and leaving a deposit of $100,000, less than 2 percent. However, when Lieberman pressed for the rest of the down payment and, ultimately, the balance, Dash paid another $400,000, but then withdrew his offer entirely. Dash's fork-tongued rep, Amanda Silverman, said, "He hasn't been able to look at the house because every time he tries to go, there's a hurricane." She added. "He has a bunch of other houses that don't get used."
ROCKER CALLS R&B/HIP HOP ARTISTS IDIOTS!!
Noel Gallagher of Oasis isn't a fan of hip-hop and tells Time Off magazine he's just not "havin' it" any longer. "I fu**ing hate it... and R&B, and all the people that make that kind of music and all the people that buy it," Gallagher fumed. "When you see the videos of some guy throwing $100 bills over a naked woman lying on a bed with a dog leash around her fu**ing neck... what the fu** is all that about? That to me doesn't seem to be right somehow. Back in the 70s/80s, if that was done by a rock n' roll band, it'd be called sexist and there'd be shock, horror and outrage. For some reason, hip-hop artists tend to get away with that. It's all about the bling and the money. The critical thing about these fu**ers is they go on about increase the peace' and getting kids to stay in school, but they're all raving crack heads. It's a fake form of music to me, and they're all a bunch of idiots anyway." Read more.

JAY-Z CALLS DRESS CODE A FORM OF CENSORSHIP
Jay-Z tells The New York Daily News he doesn't think the NBA's new dress code is racist or a form of censorship on hip-hop culture. "(If) they want to have a more professional look, that's well and good," the hip hop mogul, who is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets, told Ohm Youngmisuk. "But to spring it on someone as a mandatory thing in the last two weeks, that rubs me wrong a little way. It is not a classy thing to do. But if that is implemented starting next year, we have to start wearing suits and dress up, hey, the rules are the rules. As far as what I have seen, people relate to guys like Allen Iverson because they feel like he is one of them. Know what I am saying? Not too many people are walking around from where he comes from with Armani suits on." Read more of the extensive interview here.

Banks told the New York Daily News that she has always made a point to steer clear of Campbell, and has previously said of her British archrival: "She did so many hateful things, like getting me thrown off shows because she was more famous. It got so bad that I just wanted to give up." In describing their first-ever embrace at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show last week, Banks beamed: "It was the first time I've been in a room with Naomi when I didn't fear her."

OPRAH SAYS SHE AIN'T BUYING THE TOM CRUISE AND KATIE SHOW
Oprah tells "Good Morning America" that the Tom Cruise couch fiasco was even more crazy than it appeared. Oprah admits she had no clue what was going on and was not buying his declaration of love for Katie Holmes. "It was wilder than it was appearing to me," Winfrey said. "I was just trying to maintain the truth for myself because I couldn't figure out what was going on. And what I was prepared for was the dance that happens when you're doing celebrities — when you know they're not going to tell you, but you're going to ask anyway, and then you try asking another way." "I was not buying-- not buying it, not buying," Winfrey said of Cruise's declarations of love. "That's why I kept saying to 'you're gone, you're really gone.'"
