CAN'T SAY NAMES
Sources say things are a little awkward on a current summer tour scene with two performers who share something in common -- they both dated the same man. We hear that things are tense between the two singers, as one of the singers had an affair with the other singer's boyfriend and things got messy. The whole ordeal included a breakup, a makeup and the purchase of an expensive SUV to make good on the drama. Both have moved on, apparently, but the ill feelings still remain.

According to the National Enquirer, 'Saved by the Bell' star Lark Voorhies is apparently suffering from cocaine addition. The beautiful actress was apparently admitted to Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, Calif. after family and friends staged an intervention. The tabloid also reports the 31-year-old actress is bipolar as well.

Fresh from the Fugees’ surprise performance to open the BET Awards Tuesday in Los Angeles, group member Pras told reporters backstage that a new Fugees album is definitely on deck, despite breakup residue that left them barely able to speak to each other during rehearsals on Tuesday.
"Right now we're in the studio figuring out what our zone is going to be," Pras said, after acknowledging that the split with Lauryn Hill and Wyclef Jean was due to ballooning egos. Pras says Tuesday’s gig was a first step toward healing still-open wounds.
"Everything happens for a reason,” he said. “We're here now and trying to see if we can do it again. It's a healing process and tonight was a big surgery [for us]."

*Alicia Keys told reporters that her upcoming "unplugged" album will feature the creation of new songs as well as "flipping songs you know." MTV chose Keys to re-launch its acoustic performance series, which she’ll record in July for an October release via J Records.
HIP HOP AND YA DON'T STOP
The late Notorious B.I.G. and Big Daddy Kane are among the hip hop elite to be praised at the second annual “VH1 Hip Hop Honors,” to be held Sept. 22 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.
Other honorees include LL Cool J, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Ice-T, Salt-N-Pepa and John Singleton’s 1991 film "Boyz n the Hood." The show will air Sept. 26 on VH1.
"Our first Hip Hop Honors proved to be an incredible success not only for the channel but also within the hip-hop community. It was a long overdue celebration of the genesis and roots of a genre that has permeated world culture," the show's executive producer Lee Rolontz told The Associated Press. "This year's honorees run the gamut from MCs to trailblazing duos to an iconic motion picture - all of which have had a massive impact on the hip-hop music landscape."
Last year's honorees included the late Tupac Shakur, Public Enemy and Run DMC
WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHYNE
Rapper Jamal “Shyne” Barrows just finished two months in solitary confinement for fighting another inmate at New York’s Clinton Correctional Facility when he got into another scrap with the same guy.
According to the New York Post, Shyne’s second fight landed him in involuntary protective custody, where he continues to be held. The rapper had just completed two months of 23-hour-a-day confinement as punishment for the first altercation, which occurred in the chow line.
Shyne is currently serving a 10-year bid for his involvement in the 1999 Club New York shooting, in which two bystanders were wounded. Sean "P. Diddy Combs," the president of Shyne’s former label Bad Boy Entertainment, was tried and found not guilty of four counts of weapons possession and one count of bribing a witness.

We haven't seen "Being Bobby Brown," but writer Barry Garon of the Hollywood Reporter has and put it mildly his bottom line thoughts boiled down to one word: "disgusting." He's what he wrote ...

RED-faced bosses at Hermes issued a wishy-washy apology to Oprah Winfrey yesterday — a week after she was refused entry into its posh Paris store in a racially tinged snub. As PAGE SIX exclusively reported on Monday, Hermes staffers would not allow Oprah inside, supposedly because they had been "having a problem with North Africans." Facing a p.r. nightmare, the company finally released a carefully worded "I'm sorry" to Oprah, which also seemed to subtly lay the blame on her. "Hermes regrets not having been able to accommodate Ms. Winfrey and her team and to provide her with the service and care that Hermes strives to provide to each and every one of its customers worldwide," the statement read. "Hermes apologizes for any offense taken due to such circumstances." But Hermes also said that "Winfrey and her team" wanted to shop when "a private p.r. event was being set up inside." Meanwhile, Hermes CEO Robert Chavez called Oprah's handlers in a bid to diffuse "the situation" and invited her to come back to shop anytime. But it isn't very likely, as Oprah is apparently getting ready to sock it to Hermes when she returns to the air this fall.

How did you get started in the porn industry?
I went to art school and studied "film" at the school of visual arts here in new york; but, getting into the bizness was a matter of raising the money from friends and myself and putting together a sample movie. I did that and sent to a few places and met a guy who was Heather Hunter's agent and acted as my agent and sent to Vivid Films; so, I signed a five picture deal with Vivid's Gay line (called Vivid Raw). After that deal I formed my own company and started working for myself. That's it in a nutshell.

How does an O.J(Ordinary Joe) get into porn as an actor,director or writer?
It's all in who you know to get into the bizness. As actor is a little easier, you can submit photos to a studio you like. But, becoming a director or writer is getting in good with someone that is in the porn world.

What do you feel is the biggest misconception about the porn biz?
I would say the casting couch idea is a big one; people expect that you have to test drive the new models and for me at least that wasn't the way I wanted to do business. I think the business is work and you try not to soil your work area.

How do family& friends feel about your job?
I don't really talk about the day job to friends, but the ones that know think it's cool. My mom does know a little bit about what I do and she doesn't ask a lot of questions about it (she doesn't really want to know).

Do you have a normal life?Are you dating anyone and if not,do you find it easier or harder to meet someone, considering your job and all?
I have been in a gay relationship for a few years now -- and I have a dog and a cat and cook and clean. The day job (making the porn vids) is just something I do and I try to keep it separate from when I get home. But, in my social life I don't really talk about the day job mainly because I don't want it to take over my life.

You use a lot of hip hop in your movies(the fashion and the music).Why does hip hop and porn go so well together?
Porn is a fantasy and I think the fantasy of being with a thug rapper is big in the gay world. Most people I talk to have dreams about getting naked with masculine men.

Are all of the actors gay in your movies?

I would say about 70 percent of the actors are gay and about 30 percent are straight hustler types that are doing it for money (quick cash). I can work with both and just be up front about what I need in the shot.

How do you prepare an actor mentally to start his life as an actor in porn?Because once he's done it,it's out there for the world to see.

I am very honest about the business. One of the questions I ask during a casting is, "what is your interest in doing porn?" and then I layout the good the bad and the ugly.

There is one scene in Aprende where the actors are fucking on top of a Jeep,who's concept was that? It was hot!

The Jeep scene in "Aprende" was shot over 3 days in the bronx near orhard beach. -- in a very quiet area. I like the idea of documentary type films mixing into the sex; like you just happened to be a fly on the wall. I think "aprende" and "off da hook" was my attempt at reality TV.
I did get stopped during the filming of "Aprende" on the jeep scene by a security car and we told them we were shooting a record album and they let alone.

Do you feel a social responsibilty to help out the gay community?

I do understand that what I am doing will be seen by a lot gay men -- some of which are just coming out the closet -- and my role here is to make sure that safe-sex is a part of the scenes I do. I don't think I would do a film that didn't have condoms for the sex, just because it would send the wrong message.

I have to ask this one,I've seen some big ass dicks in porn, What was the biggest dick you guys ever had come in your offices(no pun intended)?

I think 11 inches or 12 inches was the biggest I've seen. I'm not really into size I personally like faces and bodies.

What's next for Enrique Cruz?

The new film is called Enrique Cruz "reloaded" and will be in stores in September or October. This summer I am working on some latino themed films and then I'll see what happens in the fall. I also update the website with original content: enriquecruz.com at least every week.

Oprah just wanted to dash into the store -- there were still other shoppers inside -- to pick up a watch for her dinner companion Tina Turner. Oprah has been a big Hermes customer in the past, but now she's canceling a recent order and has told Hermes's American president that she'll no longer shop there. She might even tell her influential 22 million viewers to avoid the store as well. We imagine a few employees in Paris might be anxious about their jobs just about now.
LEO'S BIG BASH
LEONARDO DICAPRIO has filed a police report over this weekend's beer bottle attack at an L.A. party. The actor had to get 12 stitches in his neck after a woman threw a beer bottle at him. In the police report, Leo said he was the victim of an assault with a deadly weapon and noted that he needed hospital treatment. Police said no one has been arrested and there was no known motive for the attack. The woman was said to be at the party looking for her ex-boyfriend, and was repeatedly asked to leave before the incident.

Some major shake-ups just happened at UPN. Last week, news was leaked that actressElise Neal would not be returning to her starring role as "Tia Jewel" on the struggling sitcom 'All of Us.' Hollywood had been buzzing for weeks that 'All of Us' would likely be cancelled, and most were shocked when it was announced the sitcom would get a third season.
Elise Neal will be leaving UPN's 'All of Us,' while Flex Alexander will play a much lesser role on 'One on One,' a show he co-created.
"The only reason that the show is coming back is because [executive producer] Will Smith asked the top executives at UPN to give the show another go," a source at the network told BV Buzz. "Otherwise, 'All of Us' would have ended this past May.As we enter the critical third year of 'All of Us' and a new move to Monday nights at 8:30PM this fall, there was a creative decision to focus on the relationship of divorced parents "Robert" [played by Smith's real life best friend Duane Martin] and "Neesee" [played by LisaRaye Mcoy] and how they deal with raising a son, which draws them together; while exploring separate personal lives, which pulls them apart. Elise Neal has been outstanding as "Tia Jewel" and we thank her for her tremendous contribution to the show."

NO BAIL FOR CASSIDY
Cassidy, the rapper, continues to sit in a medium-security prison after being denied bail at his arraignment Saturday.
The M.C., whose second album “I’m A Hustla” drops June 28, was officially charged with one count of murder, two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and a number of weapons offenses in the shooting death of 22-year-old Desmond Hawkins last April.
Cassidy (real name Barry Reese) did not enter a plea during his arraignment and he won't be asked to until his case is brought to trial — which could be several months from now, reports MTV. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for Wednesday.
A spokesperson for the district attorney's office told MTV that it's likely Cassidy will be on lock down at Philadelphia's Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility until, and throughout, his trial.
As previously reported, police say Cassidy and two other men, armed with .45 and .40 caliber handguns, 9 mm pistols, AK-47 assault rifles and 7.62 mm rifles, fired on three unarmed men during an argument behind a house in the rapper's northwest Philadelphia neighborhood, killing Hawkins. The other two victims were treated at a hospital for gunshot wounds and released.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the other alleged shooters. The identity of the third gunmen is not known.

WOULD THE REAL STAR OF THE SHOW PLEASE STAND UP
Bobby Brown, 36, told Samuelsof Newsweek, about the experience of filming his new reality show for Bravo “Being Bobby Brown,” premiering June 30. Here are some excerpts from the interview that appears in the June 27th issue on newsstands now:
So why a reality show? Haven't you had enough of cameras following you around?
• I needed to do something to stay out of trouble. Too much free time ain't too good for someone like me. And now that I'm feeling healthy and off the drugs and other stuff I was doing -- I feel like getting myself back on track. But honestly, the main reason I wanted to do this is really for my kids. They're always saying, "Daddy, why do they always make you look so bad in the press?" You know? They don't see their father as a screw-up.
In one of the first episodes, you make some really crude jokes about celebrities -- like when you talk about Eddie Murphy wearing dresses in his downtime. Any worry that that might come back to haunt you?
• No, no worries. I didn't censor myself at all while the cameras were on because that wouldn't be real. I don't mean anybody harm, but I've spent most of my career being the butt of somebody's joke, so I don't have too much concern about somebody's feelings getting hurt. If you can't take a joke, then you need to go somewhere and die -- and definitely get out of this business.
What was Whitney's response to the show?
• She wanted no part of it. (Laughs.) But then once the cameras started rolling and she saw how much fun I was having, I couldn't get rid of her. I had to tell her, "This is 'The Bobby Brown Show' -- not 'The Whitney Show'!"
How is Whitney's health now?
• She's doing fine. It's been three months and she's feeling good and is getting better day by day. This struggle with [substances] is an ass-kicker. But we're both fighting it with all we have. I think we can make it.

Stevie Wonder is spread some much-needed good will in the City of Brotherly Love. After hearing about the row house fire that took the lives of five small children on June 12, the Motown legend made arrangements to pay for each of their funerals, his publicist Ira Tucker revealed Friday.
"Stevie feels good about this," said Tucker. "It's been just a heart-wrenching thing. I don't think he's ever done anything like this before. It's just good that something can be lifted from them.”
The blaze in the city's Kensington neighborhood killed three sisters, Summer Cooke, 5; Samantha Bowers, 4; and Sabrina Dickson, 22 months; and two of their cousins who lived nearby, Amber Johnson, 3; and Reginald Ringgold, 1. The three sisters' mother, Shannon Bowers, 21, and her boyfriend, Lester Cooke, 33, escaped by jumping from a second-floor window into a children's wading pool on the sidewalk.
Tucker says that Wonder is hoping to visit with the families of the children during his visit to Philadelphia for the Live 8 concert on July 2.
Investigators are still trying to determine what started the fire.

June 17, 2005 -- BOBBY Brown strolled into the Olive Garden in Times Square last Sunday afternoon with his two kids and a bodyguard and, according to our spy, asked to be seated upstairs. "The hostess told him it would be a 45-minute wait — she didn't know who he was," our witness says. Brown, who is not looking very healthy these days, was not happy about the non-recognition: "He gave his name and walked out." Brown's wife, Whitney Houston, who just got out of rehab, was not there.

Cassidy(rapper with hit song I'm a Hustler and the remix feat Mary J. Blige) is a hustler but he soon might be a murderer as well. He’s wanted in Philly for the murder of a 22-year-old man in April.

Michael Giampietro, Cassidy’s attorney, said he expects his client will surrender himself to authorities on Friday morning. A police spokesperson said when he does, Cassidy will be charged with conspiracy, weapons possession and homicide.

word on the street is that Kanye West and record executive Steve Stoute are working on a collaboration between legendary enemies Nas and the Jigga Man Jay-Z. The intiative came as a result of West's recent work with Nas where he said he sensed a 'thawing' of tensions. With the help of Stoute - a long time friend and business partner of both artists - approaches have been made, although nothing concrete has been concluded. Michael Jackson: Not Guilty A California jury has found Michael Jackson not guilty on all 10 felony counts stemming from child molestation charges. At approximately 2:00pm PT Jackson arrived in court with select family members, including his parents and sister Janet. The judge allowed the audio portion of the verdict to be broadcast live. Loyal Jackson fans, who have been camped outside the court for months, screamed when the verdict was announced. After Jackson was proclaimed a free man, he was escorted outside by bodyguards and family members, shielded by a large black umbrella.A motionless Jackson dabbed at his eyes with a tissue as the verdicts were read, and he later was embraced by his chief lawyer, Thomas Mesereau Jr. Another member of his defense team burst into tears, and some of the women in the jury also wept and passed around a box of tissues. Though he's been known to climb up on his SUV and wave to fans, Jackson quietly got into his waiting vehicle. But first, in a nod to his adoring fans, he patted his hand over his heart. No word on if Jackson's young accuser plans to file a civil suit against the pop star.

The reclusive singer emerged from hibernation to take the stage in 60s getup and an apparent mushroom wig to perform at the event, reports the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. From the opening song, “Doo Wop-That Thing,” it was apparent that the Lauryn Hill of old - with those unmistakable pipes that powered the “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” album to five Grammys – would not be making an appearance.
The Journal-Constitution’s Sonia Murray said “her band was distorted, and her usually full, soulful voice was unusually raw and weakened.”

After plodding through three more “Miseducation” tunes and reciting a poem, Hill abruptly bounced to a round of silence. “No applause. No boos. No anything, except perhaps stunned silence,” wrote Murray. The venue’s curfew was soon tossed around as a possible reason for the sudden ending.

Wearing an afro, oversized lashes and black turtleneck under a gray, scoop-neck sweater, Hill also appeared on the pre-taped season premiere of HBO’s “Russell Simmons presents Def Poetry” that aired Friday night. Greeted with a standing ovation, she barely looked up from her notes while reciting a poem entitled “Motives and Thoughts.” When it was over, Hill said “thank you,” straightened her papers and gave the audience a slight grin.

The singer, who announced her engagement last May to Dallas Cowboys football star Roy Williams after a six-month courtship, called off the wedding and is refusing to discuss what she’s doing with the ring. "I'm not telling. And before you ask, there's no one new. It has its up and downs being single,” Rowland said according to WENN. "But I never will again (talk about my boyfriends). I get it now - the next time I fall in love, I'm just going to shut up."

The members of DESTINY'S CHILD made a surprise announcement on stage in Barcelona on Saturday night, saying they will disband at the end of their current Destiny Fulfilled… and Lovin' It tour. (Guess they aren't really loving it.) Kelly Rowland made the announcement before 16,000 fans at Spain's Palau Sant Jordi, saying that it would be the group's last European gig. The band then released a statement to MTV News: "We have been working together as Destiny's Child since we were nine, and touring together since we were 14," the statement read. "After a lot of discussion and some deep soul searching, we realized that our current tour has given us the opportunity to leave Destiny's Child on a high note.I happen to love Destiny's Child so I have nothing bad to say.Good Luck Beyonce,Good Luck Kelly,Good Luck other one.
THE "EALY" BIRD CATCHES THE WORM
A couple of years ago in Chicago, I met an ex-friend of mine on the set of her movie, it was Eve(yup the rapper).Anyway,she introduces me to the cast and to this gorgeous man with eyes like mine,it was Michael Ealy.Michael and I flirted all day on the set,he even showed me his neck kissing technique.I asked him for his number and he said"I don't mess with fine ass girls like you,you'd just break my heart"and I believed him.A little later he started dating Halle Berry and do you know what I think?...I think he thinks I was more fine than Halle Berry.

VH1 has surprised us all by putting out some deliciously exploitive manstastic shows on this summer.As I mentioned on my other blog THE HEIRESS DIARIES ,I'm in love with 2 of the guys from the show KEPT.The other one that has definitely caught my errr... eye, is Strip Search,the search for America's Next Top Man Whore as I like to call it.Fifteen ordinary men from all across America will leave behind the nine-to-five grind to compete for one of seven six-figure, one-year contracts as a member of a traveling male strip revue troupe. Instead of pushing paper eight hours a day, these ordinary guys will get paid to entertain thousands of smitten female fans. But the gay, bisexual and transgendered people in the L.A. area are not so happy. Previous parade grand marshals like Jennifer Tilly and Cyndi Lauper had (and have) a long and lovingly supportive relationship with the gay community. But the Hiltons have "done squat for the LGBT community," according to the L.A. Independent. In the first season of "Simple Life," when Nicole Richie said it would be hot to see two guys make out, Paris made a face as if she'd smelled something awful and said, "Ewwwww!" Dan Berkowitz, a member of the West Hollywood Lesbian & Gay Advisory Board, said, "My jaw dropped when I heard [of the Hiltons' selection]. What they have to do with gay pride in West Hollywood or anywhere else is utterly beyond me." Radio talk-show host Charles Karel Bouley II wrote in the Advocate: "[Paris] is whiny, self-indulgent and self-absorbed, and her only claim to fame is that she's a party girl who has had great Internet sex. Wait, maybe she is the perfect role model for gay pride."

Mr and Mrs. Smith stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.The look and style of the movie is fabulous,Angelina Jolie is sex kitten with hollow tip claws and Brad Pitt is delicious walking around in his short white boxers in one scene.The onstage chemisrty is as hot as the alleged offstage chemistry but one problem...the movie sucks.Cast as top-grade professional assassins, married to each other yet unaware of their professions, who learn they have to kill each other.I highly recommend waiting for the dvd and watching it on mute.OH when bad movies happen to gorgeous stars.

USHER LOVES THE KIDS
At a press conference held at Club Capitale in New York, Usher announced theNew Look Foundation, a non-profit organization, will re-launchwith is help on July 8th.

"The vision is to change music, sports and entertainment as we know by creating a smarter athlete and a well informed entertainer," Shawn H. Wilson, executive director of the New Look Foundation, told SOHH.com.

The goal of organization, which has been around for four years, is to teach kids about business and responsibility through working in a hands-on type of environment.

"The original focus of the organization was as a grant-making entity donating money. But he [Usher] wanted more, he wanted to be in the driver's seat," he said. "So that's the difference from four years ago; we went from a grant making entity to more hands-on."

The New Look Foundation will be holding a two-week sports and entertainment camp for kids at Clark Atlanta University. 250 kids between the ages 9 and 17 will learn how to become better athletes and methods in business and marketing. They'll be able to utilize what they learn when they throw the organization's first fundraiser, a Celebrity Basketball game, set to take place on July 23rd. Not only will kids be participating in the event, but they will be organizing and running it.

Shawn H. Wilson, the Executive Director of the New Look Foundation, has 15 years of experience in non-profit organizations. He's also assisted celebs in getting organizations off the ground. "To be honest, I have a history of helping celebrities start non- for-profits," he said. "When you look into [Ushers] eye and see his passion, you can't help but want to open doors."

Bloods protest against snitches. On Tuesday, approximately twenty men believed to be Blood gang members picketed against snitches in front of New York's Hot 97. A source told SOHH.com that the men held up picket signs which featured a crossed-out rat, symbolic for people to "stop snitching." Several days later the men were seen outside of Violator Management, the management company for 50 Cent. The protests came several days after The Game's performance at Hot 97's Summer Jam concert.
2-The Game has dropped 16 bars for for Sheek Louch's upcoming album, After Taxes. While the track has yet to be titled, Sheek Louch told SOHH.com that Chuck Taylor had completed his verse for the song. "Game just called. He finished his verse," Sheek told SOHH.com. Sheek's upcoming album also features "Maybe If I Sing," a song entirely aimed at 50 Cent rapper. "I just had to mash on that ni99a 50. He's a coward. He is a beeyatch. He's rich. I ain't gon lie about that. According to New York's Daily News, Jay-Z has surpassed P. Diddy as the richest Hip-Hop Mogul. Fortune Magazine estimated Puff's wealth at $315 million which hasn't changed since last year. The publication now estimates Hov's fortune at $320 million. "I'm just proud of Jay-Z. I'm happy it's one of my friends," Combs told the Daily News at Audermars Piguet's Manhattan boutique as Jay stood next to him. "We're gonna trade that No. 1 spot back and forth. He'll give it back to me next year." Young added, "It's all in the plan. I didn't even expect it this year."

A blind item in The New York Post asks, "Which female rapper stays slim through bulimia? The recording artist, who's been to court several times for bad behavior, was most recently caught retching in the ladies' room of Gallagher's Steak House."

I LEAKED IT FIRST(BY MISTAKE) BUT HERE'S CONFIRMATION

Monica recently did an interview for "Sister 2 Sister" Magazine basically confirming her pregnancy. It will be featured in the issue with Amerie on the cover. I AM GLAD THAT MONICA IS FINALLY RE-EMERGING IN PREPERATION FOR HER FIFTH ALBUM! Here is the full article:

"Monica should have had her baby boy by the time you read this. He was due May 25th. She called when she was 9 months pregnant to give me the lowdown. The R&B singing cutie told me that she's been busy--not just growing a baby, but in the studio, too. When we spoke, half of her album was finished. She'd been going in the studio from 9 to 3, where they had a special stool made for her. She told me that when she worked with Jermaine Dupri, "He said if I felt funny, to go home." She had no swelling, sickness...nothing. Her only thing was that she was conscious of what she ate (no junk food), and if she worked hard, she rested double. Monica only gained a total of 13 pounds. Imagine that. I can super-size my junk food just one time and gain 13 pounds.

The baby weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces inside her. She said that she didn't look any different, except for down low in the tummy when she carried the baby. She had no veins and no swelling. Monica continued to travel until her 5th month, and even worked on New Year's Eve. She said that she wanted to have the baby in the hospital because she isn't down with the Mother Earth stuff, though she respects what midwives do. She went to the doctor ever week. And guess what, ladies? She intends to breast-feed. Monica told me how someone predicted her pregnancy. She said, "I found out an old-lady friend of mine had dreamed about me. She dreamed I was pregnant, came and said it was a boy. When I found out from the doctor that I was pregnant and with a boy, it was a happy shock." She plans to name her son Rodney Ramon, after its daddy. Rodney and Monica are doing many things together. She knows the press can tear families apart, but she hopes to get through all that. She said that she can take the media heat, but the people who love her can't. She met Rodney in a skating rink. Neither of them wanted to go skating that night. Her friend took her skating and his friend took him, but they caught each other's attention. Her girlfriend, Bam, did all the talking and actually called Rodney on the phone for Monica. It seemed like it was determined they should be together, though it didn't happen right away. She met Rodney two weeks before her boyfriend Jarvis killed himself. She said it was scary, his meeting her and then something traumatic like that happening in her life shortly after. In the 5 years that followed, they went from friends to lovers. But she brags that she and Rodney did a good job at hiding their relationship. She said that he's supported her all through her pregnancy.

I asked Monica about the children she's taken care of over the last 8 or 9 years, including her ex-boyfriend Jarvis's child. Though she's become a pro at parenting, she said it's scary having your own child, preparing his room and seeing his little clothes lying around the house. Monica also said that her job as an entertainer is scary. She's trying to find the balance between entertaining and dealing with the other priorities in her life. One of Monica's best friends is Mia X, a rapper who was signed to Master P's No Limit Label. Between Mia X and T-boz, Monica got a lot of advice on being a mother/entertainer. Brandy was one of the first people Monica told about her pregnancy. Brandy said Monica had been on her mind. Monica went to Arizona to visit her. Brandy couldn't come to Monica's shower because it was her fiance Quentin Richardson's 25th birthday. Monica's mom retired from her job at Delta Airlines earlier this year to get ready for her job as grandma. And Monica's brother is already asking how long he can keep the baby. I already know she's going to be "the bomb" mama, but it's good that she's got loved one to help her.

BET’s Executive Vice President for Music and Entertainment Programming, Stephen Hill, denied rumors that the BET would not play the clip.
“The video is not and has never been banned from BET. To answer why it was not played on BET when he was on – they had not submitted the video. They have to officially submit the video to us and they had not submitted the video when he was on ‘106th & Park’.” Hill added, however, that the video was later submitted and said, “We are working with him now to get to a video that we’re all comfortable playing. We are working with Marques and [his manager/producer] Chris Stokes to get to a version of the video that we are comfortable playing.”

Rapper Young Buck Ordered to Stand Trial

The NY Daily News reports that rapper Young Buck,whose given name is David Darnell Brown, allegedly stabbed Jimmy James Johnson after Johnson punched Brown's mentor, Dr. Dre, during the Nov. 15 taping of the show.
Superior Court Judge James Dabney found sufficient evidence to try the 24-year-old Brown, who was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday.
"We're confident when all the truth comes out, he'll be exonerated," said defense attorney Leonard Levine.Johnson has pleaded not guilty to an assault charge during the confrontation, which set off a chair-throwing brawl that spread through the crowd.
Young Buck is signed to Dre's record label as part of the G-Unit clique, and his first solo album, "Straight Outta Ca$hville," debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard charts in August.

The face of Ralph Lauren's Polo line suffered some cuts and bruises yesterday after a mysterious car smashup sent supermodel Tyson Beckford to the hospital.
The heartthrob was rushed to Jersey City Medical Center at about 5 a.m. yesterday for treatment to his face, which earned him a place on People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People list.
An inside source said, "He looked pretty badly beaten to me, but he was laughing about it.
"He didn't seem bothered about his face. He was more concerned about what had happened to his car."
Beckford was named Model of the Year at the 1995 VH1 Fashion Awards and has starred in such movies as "The Fast and the Furious."
He has appeared in numerous magazines, including Vogue, GQ and Essence.
His manager, Bethann Hardison, said, "I don't know the details of the crash, and at the moment I don't want to know.
"I have spoken to him but told him not to think about it at the moment, just relax. The details can come later.
"It's not perfect. He has bruises and things, but he has all his limbs intact. It wasn't too serious and he's going to be fine."
She said Beckford had been alone in the car.
A hospital spokesman said Beckford was discharged yesterday afternoon. Jersey City police were unable to confirm details of the crash yesterday.

While I was out having the most boring time at Radio City Music Hall for the Tony's.There was a party going on at Giants Stadium for the Hot 97 Summer Jam.What would that event be without it's scandal,I mean it was at this event that the Jay-Z/Nas Battle brewed.Well this year THE GAME set it off with his lyrical bullets aimed at 50 Cent and his G-Unit goons.VH1 states:
During Summer Jam, the New York tri-state area's biggest hip-hop concert of the year, the Game's frustrations boiled over while onstage in New Jersey's Giants Stadium, and he took several verbal shots at the G-Unit. The rapper also had people dressed up in a gorilla suit and a rat costume — representing 50's alleged snitching — both wearing G-Unit T-shirts and getting beaten in a mocking manner by Game's clique.The lanky MC even threw a G-Unit chain he once wore proudly into the audience like it nothing more than a used tissue going into a garbage can.The tirade ended, ironically, with Game performing the song he and 50 made famous, "This Is How We Do." Before going into the verses, Game had more unfavorable words for the entire crew: "50 Cent can suck my ... / Tony Yayo can suck my ... /G-Unit can suck my ..."I'll suck it Game...G-G-G-G-G-G-U NOT!
