THE BEYONCE RUMORS ARE STILL ALL THE BUZZ
Those Beyonce baby rumors may have just gotten a big boost - from the lady herself. An earwitness says he heard the superstar confirm with her own words that she is expecting Jay-Z's baby.
The confession allegedly was made in a private room at the opening of Jay's 40/40 club in Atlantic City on Wednesday night.
However, the admission would jar with a report from another guest, who blabbed: I definitely saw her drinking Champagne, implying that she was unlikely to be pregnant. The gala opening drew pals of the couple, including Destiny's Children Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Diddy, Magic Johnson and Barry Bonds.
Speculation has risen in the past few weeks, with some observers saying they can spot a telltale bump. Another source, who attended a lunch party with the singer almost a month ago, told me the table talk was all about her presumed pregnancy.
And the official word on Beyonce's confession"? A concise: This is not true.

THE BLACK NEWLEYWEDS ARE STILL GOING STRONG
Mary J. Blige says of her two-year marriage to Kendu Isaacs: Anybody that's married will know that it's work... but things are great. Any plans for a baby together? "Not right now," she tells Us Weekly.

Billboard.com reports that in additional BET backstage chatter, Tyrese Gibson said he's making the transition from R&B into rap under the moniker Black Ty. The artist is at work on an album called 'Alter Ego', a double-CD project that will feature R&B on one disc and hip-hop on the other. Among the confirmed guests artists is Kurupt. Read more

JOY BRYANT TELLS 50 TO PUT A SOCK ON IT
Joy Bryant spoke with friends about filming a nude scene with 50 Cent in Get Rich or Die Tryin, though the rapper didn't realize he wasn't supposed to be literally naked. The New York Daily News reports that the actress told friends, He came out butt-naked. I told him to go to the wardrobe department and go put a sock on. The G-Unit mainman then reappeared wearing the biggest sock anyone had ever seen.

THE HONEYMOON IS OVER...WELCOME TO MARRIAGE
Though Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson arrived hand in hand at Ashlee Simpson's I Am Me album release party at O-Bar in West Hollywood, Us Weekly reports that it was a different story once the 'Newlyweds' were inside. Nick tried to talk to Jessica, but she wouldn't give him the time of day, a partygoer revealed. When they left two hours later, they hand hands for the cameras, but once inside the car Simpson talked on her phone the entire ride home.

MADONNA HAS NO DOUBT ABOUT WHO HAS STOLEN HER STYLE
ContactMusic.com reports that Madonna believes No Doubt singer Gwen Stefani has copied her appearance and followed her lead by marrying a British man. She ripped me off. We work with a lot of the same people, the Material Girl sniffed. She married a Brit, she's got blonde hair and she likes fashion. But I don't mind. I think she's very sweet and talented.

CAN WE ALL DO A COLLECTIVE... WE TOLD YOU SO?
Word is out in Los Angeles that Britney Spears is getting fed up with her hard-partying hubby, Kevin Federline. The underemployed dancer is said to love the nightlife, which he can now afford thanks to Spears, and often leaves wife and baby home in Malibu to party the night away with pals. His latest solo jaunt was Tuesday at Element, according to gossip Web site perezhilton.com, and PAGE SIX hears that Spears isn't happy, although she shouldn't be surprised. After all, Federline ditched his then-pregnant girlfriend Shar Jackson for the far wealthier Spears and then missed his son's first birthday. Federline has yet to find a career of his own, though he is trying to become a rapper — with Britney's help. A rep denied any friction between the two.

GLAM LIVING...MIND YOUR MANNERS

It's my sincere hope that every one of you get to go to a really nice restaurant at least once a month,if not you should try.Experience something more than a place that has a drive-thru or gives you a plastic bib with a picture of a lobster on it.And when you go to these fancier places, there is a certain amount of class that is expected of you.
So I've compiled a list of basic table manners for you:
GENERAL TIP #1: For all questions involving etiquette, just use your brains.
Men don't have to get all Victorian and insist on standing up every time a woman leaves or returns to the table. Just be polite. Now, if you're a guest at someone's house, don't sit until the host sits first (unless the host told you to just go sit down at the table). In fact, when dealing with hosts, remember…
GENERAL TIP #2: Never do anything until the host does it first.
This includes sit, eat, put your napkin on the table, and leave. After all, the host is paying for the shindig, so at least make him/her feel like (s)he's in charge.
OK, so we've overcome the hurdle of getting your ass into the chair. Now it's time to take inventory and figure out which stuff is yours. We've all gone to a dinner and used our neighbor's fork, glass, bread plate, or husband(Oh that's just me...). So here's a shortcut so that you can know exactly what is yours:
(1) Your plate is in the center. (2) Knives and spoons are on your right, and forks and your napkin on the left. (3) Liquids (e.g., your water) go to your right, and solids (e.g., bread plate) go on your left. Here's a funky example of what the utensil layout in front of you may look like:

OK,you know where your stuff is. But now it's time to know how to use everything properly. Take your napkin and place it in your lap right away when you sit down. (It should never be on the table.) Don't get fancy and try to snap it open. Just put it on your lap (NOT into your shirt). If you're a man, do not put your tie over your shoulder.
The first part of the meal comes: the appetizers. But what utensil should you use? You can find the answer in…
GENERAL TIP #3: Use your utensils from the outside in.
The fork furthest to the outside is the one you should use for the appetizer. When the next part of the meal comes, use the next outermost fork, and so on. Same deal goes for the spoons and knives. If you're in a fancy restaurant or a catered event at my place, you might be lucky enough to have waiters who will remove any utensils you won't need. But even if you do not have this luxury,use your brains! You won't use a knife to eat your soup. You won't use a spoon to eat your salad. But let's say that you lose track of your utensils and get lost. Then, proceed to…
GENERAL TIP #4: If you're not sure what to do, wait and see what your neighbor does. If that offers no clue, then just fake it.
Chances are, nobody's watching you closely enough to see that you're using your dinner fork instead of the salad fork (the salad fork is the smaller one). Don't draw attention to yourself. Don't make a big deal of it. Just take a guess and eat. If you used the wrong utensil, the waiter will bring you a replacement.
GENERAL TIP #5: Do not put the entire soup spoon in your mouth.
Instead, fill a soup spoon about 75% with soup, bring it up to your mouth, and sip it from the side with as little slurping as possible. When your soup runs low, it's acceptable to tip your bowl away from you so that you can capture the last bits of soup, but don't do that more than twice. And remember to lower your spoon into your soup gently so that it doesn't bang the bottom of the bowl. Imagine 20 people eating soup and banging their bowl bottoms.
GENERAL TIP #6: If you spill something, don't make a big deal of it.

MIAMI VICE WASHED UP??
Sources tell PAGE SIX the screen version of the popular '80s TV series that starred Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas is mired in production difficulties including:
* The movie was supposed to shoot for three months, but is now six months over schedule — with no end in sight.
* According to a well-informed source, "Miami Vice" was "greenlit at $120 million, but the budget has been blown and it is now costing upwards of $180 million. And they aren't even done yet. It will likely be a $200 million tab by the end of shooting."
* Adding to the budget problems, filming has to be moved from Miami to Peru because of Hurricane Wilma damage.
* The script is "not good," according to several people who have read it. "This will bomb," said one.
* Stars Jamie Foxx and Colin Farrell have become slightly bloated, with Farrell sporting "beer boobs" due to their constant partying in Miami. Farrell, in particular, has been carousing at almost every hotel bar and club in town, at times drinking VOX vodka straight from the bottle.
In addition, there have been reports of fights between Farrell and Foxx — Foxx, who won his Oscar after signing up for "Vice," was said to be upset that Farrell was being paid more than he was, so he demanded his paycheck be boosted from $7.5 million to $10 million to match his co-star.

THE RUMOR MILLS ARE CHURNING
THE best rumor to emerge from the debut of the Atlantic City outpost of Jay-Z's 40/40 sports club is that Beyoncé is pregnant with Jay's child. A tipster has been calling media outlets with the story, swearing that Beyoncé told a friend she was expecting at this week's launch party, which was attended by the likes of Magic Johnson and Diddy. However, another partygoer swears he saw Beyoncé swilling champagne at the bash. Beyoncé's rep declined to comment.

THE SIMPLE LIFE IS SO DAMN DIFFICULT
Former best friends Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie begin filming the fourth season of The Simple Life on Tuesday. PEOPLE takes a look at the ladies' plans, plus other events to watch for in the coming week: TUESDAY, NOV. 1: They don't have a network for their show and they're not speaking to each other, but that's not stopping Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie from filming another season of The Simple Life. The win-win part for the former best friends: Even if no network picks up their show (which is being produced by 20th Century Fox Television), Paris and Nicole are guaranteed money because their options were renewed earlier this year. The hotel heiress is optimistic that viewers will get to see the fourth season: "All of them are fighting over it," she says of the networks "vying" for their show.

The New York Post got an earful from Mrs. Star Jones Reynolds Thursday on her ABC show “The View.” The co-host snapped over the newspaper’s account of her husband’s arrest for allegedly driving with a suspended license.
Cops pulled over Al Reynolds on Manhattan's Upper East Side shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday for changing lanes without signaling. After it was discovered he had a suspended license, he was arrested and taken into custody at the 19th Precinct.
On “The View,” Star said that when her husband called and said he was arrested and being held at the police station, “I do what a wife does. I pull my hair back into a pony tail, I put on the sweatpants and the sweat jacket and I bring all of the information down like I’m supposed to.”
Star said once she got to the precinct with the documents, the police “decide to treat it like it is, a mistake. You have to just sit here, make sure [they] get your fingerprints, make sure you’re not a child molester or have any warrants…a procedural thing. But it took longer than it was supposed to.”
A fingerprinting machine malfunction caused Reynolds to stay in custody for more than 12 hours. At some point during that time, Star says her husband suggested that she “go take care of the DMV [Dept. of Motor Vehicles] thing, which is what I did.”
Star told her “View” co-hosts and the audience that she went to the DMV and cleared up the whole mess.
“I get the license cleared, [there’s] no suspension, we don’t even have to pay a fine,” she says. “We show everything that we’re supposed to. Al stays longer than it should’ve taken. He gets out. Everything’s fine, and you think story’s over, right? No.”
The next morning, The Post reported that during those 12 hours that Al was held, Star never showed up at the police house, despite repeated calls from her husband to do so. On Thursday’s “View,” the “pissed off” former prosecutor went off.
“The sleazy New York Post – yes I said it like that – decides to write ‘Star didn’t come down to be with her husband,’” she spews. “Because I didn’t show up acting like a diva brat, an idiot down at the police station, maybe y’all didn’t recognize me. I came acting like a wife. I was down there in the morning, and then I did what I was supposed to do as a wife. But they were pissed because they didn’t get to get that tabloid photograph of me coming out in full diva mode at the police station. That’s what pissed them off, so they made up a lie; a complete and utter lie.
“And you know, I’m sorry yall, I never deal with the tabloid stuff here on the show. You know I refuse to talk about it. But don’t go after my marriage. You don’t know anything about me and my husband and how much I love him. I’m Mrs. Reynolds. I answer to him, not to the rest of you! And that pissed me off, so that’s why I said it this morning.”
When the ensuing applause died down, Star explained Al’s arrest as a misunderstanding of DMV procedure, and warned the audience: “If you sell your car, please turn in your plates. Don’t just file them. That’s where we made the mistake. When you sell your car, you don’t just get the bill of sale and the transfer and everything, you have to actually give the plates back. You think you’re supposed to file them with the documents. No. Give the plates back because [if not], the DMV thinks there’s a car driving around with no insurance, and that suspends your license.”

Just when I thought I couldn't get more grossed out by sleazy Paris Hilton, I find this article about how she had sex with Mary-Kate Olsen's former boyfriend Stavros Niarchos in a porta-potty.According to the story, the new couple spent the evening "kissing and groping" at a Hollywood party, then went into one of the stinky portable pots to have sex.
Couldn't the heiress spring for a hotel room? I'm sure she still has some pull at the Hilton.
And as for those claims she didn't know Tom Sizemore? You know -- the overweight, unattractive drug addict who has a prosthetic penis and beats women. Well, here's a photo of them -- together -- at his house!

HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM...OR BAIL HIM OUT
The Game has been arrested, accused of causing a scene at a mall and refusing to remove a Halloween mask.
"I got arrested for signing autographs," the 25-year-old rapper told WFMY-TV after he was released on $500 bail. "Signing a little girl's autograph got me arrested."
But police said The Game, real name Jayceon Taylor, and a group of companions behaved disruptively and swearing Friday at Four Seasons Town Centre. He was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. At one point, police said, his companions were sprayed with pepper spray when they surrounded officers in a threatening manner.
Mall security officers said the rapper was wearing a full-face Halloween mask and cursing loudly, and refused to leave when asked. When police arrived, Taylor continued to act up and was arrested, a police statement said.
The Game said officers overreacted.
"They thought I was Rodney King, man. It was a case of mistaken identity," he told WFMY. "It's unfair, man. Their behavior's unfair."

WNBA STAR COMES OUT THE CLOSET..YES JUST ONE
WNBA star Sheryl Swoopes says her reason for finally deciding to come out as a lesbian is simple.
I'm just at a point in my life where I'm tired of having to pretend to be somebody I am not, the Houston Comet tells writer LZ Granderson in a new interview with ESPN the Magazine. I am tired of having to hide my feelings about the person I care about. About the person I love.
Swoopes said her partner, Alisa Scott, was probably the best friend I had when I was going through the tough times in my marriage. The 34-year-old Brownsville, Texas native, who led the Comets to four WNBA championship titles, was married to football player Eric Jackson. They had a baby boy named Jordan in 1997 before divorcing two years later. But Swoopes says the reason for the split was not because she was gay. In fact, the 2005 WNBA MVP says she did not always know she was gay.
Do I think I was born this way? No, says the three-time Olympic gold medalist. And that is probably confusing to some, because I know a lot of people believe that you are. I've been married, and I have an 8-year-old son. Being with a man was what I wanted. When I got divorced in 1999, it was not because I am gay. I am three years older than my ex-husband, and I matured a lot faster than he did.
Alisa, Swoopes says, helped her through the pain of the divorce.
She was a basketball coach, so we had a lot in common, she says. She would ask, Have you guys tried marriage counseling? Have you done everything you can possibly do to save your marriage? And I just said, You know what, I don't want to save my marriage. I don't. I'm done with it.’
And so Alisa and I continued talking as friends. The thought of being intimate with her or any other woman never entered my mind. I've had plenty of gay friends I've hung out with, but that thought never entered my mind. At the same time, I am also a firm believer that when you fall in love with somebody, you can not control that. Whether it is another woman. Whether it is another man. Whatever.
Swoopes hopes that her emergence from the closet won’t cause fans to view her any differently. My biggest concern is that people are going to look at my homosexuality and say to little girls -- whether they are white, black, Hispanic -- that I cannot be their role model anymore. I don't want that to happen. Being gay has nothing to do with the three gold medals or the three MVPs or the four championships I've won. I'm still the same person. Iam still Sheryl.

BABY MAMA DRAMA FOR YOUNG JEEZY
In his child support hearing on Tuesday, rapper Young Jeezy was ordered to turn over financial statements of his earnings to lawyers representing his baby mama, Nicole Dykes.
Dykes is seeking higher support payments for their 9-year-old son because his income has changed dramatically since 2001, when the court set the monthly amount at $178.
In court depositions, Jenkins denied owning anything expensive, including mansions, cars and jewelry. But Dykes’ lawyers, who are seeking $20,000 in expenses for their client, pointed out in a press release that he offered his mansion to displaced Hurricane Katrina victims, and wears a blinged out snowman pendant around his neck worth thousands of dollars.
The judge said Jeezy must prove that he is living on a modest income for a judgment to be made in his favor. But if he is fails to disclose an honest account of his income, the judge will assess child support based on the lifestyle of a wealthy rock star.
The judge ordered the rapper’s attorney to turn over his bank statements to Dykes’ attorneys and told the lawyers to file subpoenas for other financial information from Jeezy’s Corporate Thugs Entertainment company by Friday.
The parties are scheduled to return to court on Nov. 29 to set the amount of child support.

THE GAME IS SERIOUS
The Game has constructed a new recording studio in Atlantic City to house Black Wall Street East, an arm of his Black Wall Street company which has its main office in Los Angeles. The Compton-born rapper is also planning to open Black Wall Street facilities in other cities across the country, including New York, Atlanta, Miami, Detroit, Chicago. He also hopes to create 100 jobs when the Atlantic City facility is completed.

DOES SPIKE LEE DO THE RIGHT THING...ACTRESSES SAY NO!!
With films like Malcolm X" and Get on the Bus," Spike Lee has established himself a provocative explorer of America's racial divide. But as a young director, Spike didn't know jack about shooting a sex scene.
Rosie Perez still shivers when she remembers the very disturbing sequence in "Do the Right Thing in which Spike, playing her boyfriend, rubbed ice cubes all over her body.
"I had just lost my virginity in college, Perez recalls. "I found [the scene] much more exploitative than what I had read [in the script]. … Eventually I burst into tears and I said, Don't keep filming.
It was irresponsible to put me in that position. He was the older person, the captain of the ship.
To Spike's credit, Lee includes Perez's complaints in his new memoir, That's My Story and I'm Sticking to It.
The book also quotes Lee's sister, Joie, saying her sex scene with Denzel Washington in Mo Better Blues was nothing less than horrible. [It was] just humiliating, humiliating. I seem to experience that a lot with my brother.
Likewise, Annabella Sciorra has unpleasant memories of her Jungle Fever romp with Wesley Snipes.
I called Cut! because Wesley took off my underwear and I didn't have anything on underneath, says Sciorra.And to my knowledge that's not what we were doing.
Spike's mind may have been elsewhere. Randy Fletcher, assistant director on Jungle Fever, recalls one morning when Spike asked him a question: Why hadn't Fletcher told him that Spike's then-girlfriend, Veronica Webb, who was in the film, had gone to bed with a few people we know? (Webb wrote in her own 1998 memoir that Spike put sexual pressure on me, causing her once to swing a Louis XIV lamp at him.)
Spike found no more joy getting into bed - in a business sense - with Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein. Lee says Weinstein warned that he wouldn't make Girl 6 unless Spike cast another former Lee flame, Halle Berry. Lee finally landed her, but says he still branded Weinstein a fat bastard.

STAR'S HUBBY SPENDS A LITTLE TIME IN THE SLAMMER...A LITTLE VACATION AL?
Al Reynolds, the husband of The View costar Star Jones, was arrested shortly before 3 a.m. Wednesday for allegedly driving with a suspended license, New York TV station WABC reports. Police pulled over the former Wall Street trader on Manhattan's Upper East Side for changing lanes without signaling, they said. Ultimately, Reynolds spent more than 12 hours in custody because the 19th Precinct station's fingerprinting machine malfunctioned, reports the New York Post – which claims Jones herself never appeared at the police house, despite her husband calling her. Instead, reports the Post, publicist Brad Zeifman arrived and said, "Al Reynolds was detained last night and issued a desk appearance ticket for a driving-license suspension due to incorrect DMV paperwork." When Reynolds was finally sprung, he nodded when asked if he was okay after his lengthy visit. "Yes, thank you," he replied.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO JANET?
Well it seems that the pic of Janet's "daughter" may be fake..it happens with gossip.According to Extra, No -- "Extra" dug deep, and discovered that the woman is actually Brandy Jackson, Jackie Jackson's daughter. The picture was taken from an interview she did with ABC's "20/20" during her Uncle Michael's trial.

Jeannette Walls of MSNBC.com reports that lawyers for Janet Jackson have been contacting websites featuring a nude video of the singer to demand they remove the unflattering clip. "I believe that she's particularly unhappy about this video because she's not in great shape," a source said. "She doesn't look that attractive. It’s not the six-pack abs Janet that we see in her videos." Read more.

CAM'RON'S CARJACKING A PUBLICITY STUNT??
D.C. police are now uncertain that Harlem rapper Cam’ron was the victim of an attempted carjacking, reports the Washington Post.
The article sparked all kinds of skepticism over the incident from radio disc jockeys and callers during the popular “Streets is Talkin” segment on local urban station WKYS – many of whom believed the whole episode was staged to create buzz around Cam’ron’s forthcoming album.
No arrests have been made in the wounding of the rapper, who was shot in both arms by would-be carjackers as he sat in his 2006 Lamborghini at a stoplight early Sunday.
Cam’ron, whose new album “Killa Season” is due in February, has made it clear that he was the victim of a “botched carjacking.” However, investigators say they are looking at other potential motives, and have not settled on one theory.
“If you are going to carjack a car, you don’t shoot first. You try to get the driver out of the car,” a police official told the Post, speaking on condition of anonymity because the case is under investigation. “You also wouldn’t do that in front of people.”
In dismissing the occurrence as a publicity stunt, callers on the radio began questioning the carjacker’s choice in vehicles to steal, an electric blue oddity that might as well have the words “Here I am, police!” spray painted along the side.
While investigators aren’t ruling out carjacking as a possibility, officials are saying Cam’ron could’ve been shot in an attempted execution, targeted in retaliation for a perceived slight or the victim of road rage, according to the Post.
According to police, Cam – born Cameron Giles – was leaving the nightclub H2O in Southwest and was driving alone when he stopped at the light on New York and New Jersey avenues NW. He became separated from the other members of his caravan, which included members of his crew in a pink SUV. A burgundy Ford Expedition pulled up beside him, a man exited and opened fire on Cam’ron, without saying one word, police said.
After the shooting, police said the gunman jumped back into the Expo, which had another man inside, and drove off. Two officers with the Federal Protective Service, who were on patrol nearby, sped after the suspects. The assailants crashed in the 600 block of U Street NW, and both were briefly trapped inside until the gunman shot out a window – allowing both to escape.
The pair left a large amount of evidence behind, police said. Authorities were also able to track down the owner of the crashed Ford Expo, who told police that he had lent the SUV to a friend.

THE MYSTERY 50 CENT SHOOTER
THE mystery gunman who pumped the nine bullets into 50 Cent that helped make him a rap superstar was a Brooklyn stick-up artist named Darryl "Hommo" Baum, a new book reveals.
New York magazine music editor Ethan Brown's "Queens Reigns Supreme: Fat Cat, 50 Cent, and the Rise of the Hip-Hop Hustler" (AnchorBooks) reports that Baum — whose nickname was short for "Homicide" — was himself fatally gunned down three weeks after he shot 50 in June 2000.
While 50 has implied in interviews that his assailant was killed in retaliation for shooting him, Brown reports that Baum, 34, was actually offed because one of his street thug pals had killed a member of Brooklyn's notorious Cash Money Brothers crew.
50 may have cheered the news of Baum's violent demise, but Mike Tyson, a close friend of Baum, was so despondent that he stopped training for his fight against Lou Savarese. Baum's death proved not to be too much of a distraction: Tyson scored a knockout after 12 seconds of the first round.
Among the other highlights of Brown's look at the connection between hip-hop and the criminal underbelly:
* Jam Master Jay — the legendary Run DMC deejay who was fatally shot in the head in a Queens recording studio in 2002 — turned to dealing drugs when he fell on hard times. "By the mid-'90s, Jay had become so desperate that he began running small amounts of cocaine — two or three kilos at a time — down Interstate 95 from New York to Baltimore to one of the city's most well-connected distributors, according to a source who worked closely with the distributor in Baltimore," Brown writes.
* In his first public statement about the federal investigation into Irv Gotti's Murder Inc. hip-hop empire, Russell Simmons refuses to support his former friend, imprisoned Queens crack kingpin Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff, whose ties to Murder Inc. are at the center of the probe.

JANET JACKSON'S SECRET BABY..
After 18 long years, the existence of Janet Jackson’s child with former husband James DeBarge has finally been validated. James’ younger brother, Young DeBarge, revealed on New York’s WQHT-FM that Janet and James have a daughter named Renee who is 18-years-old.
"James and the Jackson family kept everything real close, real tight,” said Young. “No one really knew how it was working out until things kind of surfaced."
DeBarge and Jackson eloped in 1984 when Jackson was 18-years-old. The marriage was annulled the following year, largely due to DeBarge's drug habit. In the years that followed, rumors began surfacing that Jackson and DeBarge had a baby who was given to Janet’s older sister Rebbie to raise.
Young said that Renee still lives with Rebbie. He claims the situation has caused the relationship between the sisters to be somewhat strained.
He said: "I think there's a little despondence. She hasn't really revealed that, but I'm sure that there's some feelings there. It's only natural that you wonder about what is and how it's come to be that way."
Jackson’s rep Patti Webster did not deny the claims when contacted by media outlets Friday, but said the singer had no comment.

CAMRON SHOT IN CARJACK ATTEMPT
Cam’ron says he’s okay and ready to get back into the studio after being shot in both arms outside a nightclub in Washington D.C.
In town to celebrate Howard University’s homecoming weekend, the rapper was the victim of an attempted carjacking outside of H20 nightclub at 2:10 a.m. Sunday. The Diplomat Records CEO was behind the wheel of the same electric blue Lamborghini he was rolling in last July in New York when arrested for driving with a suspended license. That car now sits at a police evidence lot with its driver’s side window blown out by gunfire.
The Harlem native said two men in a vehicle rolled up on him and demanded that he give up the ride. When he refused, several shots were fired into the vehicle, with a bullet entering each of his arms. After the shooting, the gunman and another man sped off in their own car and police chased them to U Street where they crashed, then ran off. Cam was taken to Howard University hospital where he was treated and released.
While leaving the hospital, Cam told a news reporter for NBC4: “I roll with the punches. The people who did it, they was real sloppy, so I’m lucky to be here. I’m blessed.”
When asked why he wouldn’t just give up the car, the lyricist said: “I didn’t give the car up because I paid $250,000 for it and I’m not just giving up anything to anybody because they waving a gun around.”

WHAT...THERE'S RACISM IN HOLLYWOOD???
In an e-mail sent out to entertainment industry folk on Friday from publicist Holly Shakoor of BWR Public Relations, recipients were informed of an alleged racist action directed toward her client, Gabrielle Union, by the owner of a posh L.A. nightclub, reports E! Online.
"I think you should all be aware of an incident that occurred with my client Gabrielle Union and the owner of Mood," the message began. "Mood was going to host her birthday party which is a week away. Once the owner found out she was African American he not only cancelled her party but he proceeds to say that he 'didnt' [sic] realize Gabrielle Union was black. I thought she was the white volleyball player. I don't want her kind of people in my club.' I want to make you all aware of this so you can discourage your celeb clients from going and also doing any events with him."
When reached by phone Friday, Mood owner David Judaken denied the account in the email, calling Shakoor's recounting of their conversation "completely false."
"All the statements written in her email are untrue," he told E! "To say that this event was canceled over race or creed is hurtful and slanderous."
Judaken, born in South Africa, says his decision to cancel Union's party had nothing to do with race; it was strictly financial, as a more lucrative offer came in from another party looking to do an event at the club on the same date. He claims the Union party was "never finalized in writing or otherwise."
Judaken, who also says he did not confuse Union with volleyball star/model Gabrielle Reece, is now mulling legal action against the Beverly Hills-based PR firm, citing his reputation may have already been damaged by the publicist's claims and the proposed boycott.

5. Staying motivated: Britney used to be a size 6. She keeps that goal in her mind and she's determined to reach it.

WANNA BUY TRUMP'S HOUSE...IT'S ONLY 125 MILLION
THE world's priciest house is about to hit the market in Palm Beach.
And the seller — who's never slept in any of its 17 bedrooms in the year he's owned it — is none other than Donald Trump.
The Post's Braden Keil reports that the real-estate mogul and TV star is asking $125 million for the estate, comprising more than 60,000 square feet of interior space, which he bought at a bankruptcy auction last year for just over $40 million.
"This is the most amazing land and house in America," Trump said with characteristic modesty after he bought the excessive estate last November.
It's not clear if he was counting his 117-room Mar-a-Lago estate, located a short distance away, much of which he's converted into a country club.
The asking price for his Palm Beach project just tops a listing of $122 million for the 103-room Updown Court outside of London.
At the time he bought it, Trump said he planned to redevelop the mansion, then sell it. "I got it for the right price, and I will fix it and make it the American dream home."
Sources say "The Apprentice" star/producer has sunk millions into the project. The estate, on North County Road, is on six acres, with 475 feet of Atlantic Ocean beachfront. In addition to its bevy of bedrooms, it has 16 baths, a 4,100-square-foot conservatory, a media room, a library and a 94-foot-long pool. Also on the property are two other pools and three large guesthouses.

T-MOBILE AND MISTER CARTOON BECOME “SIDEKICKS”
Mister Cartoon has tattooed the skin of 50 Cent, Eminem and Bow Wow, but now he’s taking his ink to T-Mobile’s Sidekick II. The limited edition Cartoon Sidekick features custom-made art around the screen of the popular mobile device.
"I am a gadget freak and my Sidekick II rolls everywhere with me," Cartoon said. "I was happy to partner with T-Mobile to customize a Sidekick II to reflect my style and give young art collectors the opportunity to carry a piece of my work around with them."

Ok,I may not be the best person to be making comments on leaving certain celebrities alone due to the fact I am a gossip queen but really some things have gotten out of hand.

The whole Beyonce takedown is ridiculous.What makes it ridiculous is it's her own people that do so.Why can't we ever support our own unconditionally,we have to say she's too thick,too skinny,her weaves are too long,her skin too tan,she's a bitch,she's lightened, she acts white,she's too ghetto.Can't we congratulate her on being on the cover of Vanity Fair and being the first black woman to do so in over 10 years??Whether she was lightened or not..WE KNOW SHE"S BLACK!! Some people act like she pulled a Michael Jackson.
When she was on the cover of Essence nobody said shit,now when on the white magazine she gotta be this and that.

Now I myself have recently poked fun at Fantasia for her not being able to read,but it's the nature of this site and a few others to be funny and mock certain things.But when I see real media only looking at Fantasia as the posterchild for illiteracy it's shameful...what about her being raped at 14,what about being a single mother on welfare and despite all 3 of those obstacles,making her biggest dream come true and she could have quietly got a tutor and learned to read but she went public to help others.Now her hometown wants to take down signs that read "Welcome to High Point, home of Fantasia Barrino." because she talks badly of her hometown but that hometown failed her and her family..fuck them(High Point) too.

That was my 2 cents.Researching through media of all forms to get the latest scoop or piece of gossip, I came across way too many people getting a negative light for little or no reason.Now,Paris Hilton...she deserves it!

At the end of the night, she tried to return the baubles, but PeachTree owner Jack Picciotto handed Ashanti back the necklace with drop pearls and almost 4 carats in diamonds, saying: "This is yours to keep. I think if Fantasia does it, it's outta here," Jamie Foxx says, mulling the prospect of the “American Idol” winner portraying the role of Effie White in the upcoming film adaptation of “Dreamgirls.”
Foxx finally signed on several weeks ago to play Curtis Taylor Jr., the manager who leads a female singing group, The Dreamettes, to fame and fortune. Loosely based on the story of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Beyonce will play Deena Jones, the Ross-esque lead singer who eventually leaves the group to pursue superstardom. Anika Noni Rose, a 2004 Tony winner for the play “Caroline and Change,” will portray Dreamettes member Lorrell Robinson, while Eddie Murphy suits up as James Thunder Early, a superstar performer who hires the Dreamettes as backup singers. And if Foxx had anything to say about it, Fantasia Barrino would round out the cast as Effie, the role made famous on Broadway by Jennifer Holiday.

STICKY SITUATION FOR RAPPER
Rapper-turned-TV actor Sticky Fingaz was nabbed yesterday after checking out of a posh Manhattan hotel and leaving a loaded pistol behind, police said.
A housekeeper spotted the 9-mm. semiautomatic while cleaning the room the rapper had just left at the opulent Flatotel on W. 52nd St., where rates start at $290 a night.
The 35-year-old cast member of the FX series, "Over There," whose real name is Kirk Jones, surrendered to police yesterday morning and faces weapons possession charges for the unregistered and unlicensed firearm, cops said.

Gracing the front of the new Vanity Fair is a stunning photo of a smiling Beyonce. But did Vanity Fair make the music superstar, well, fair?
Beyonce's spokesperson says no way.
"There are very fair-skinned black people in this world and Beyonce is one of them," Yvette Noel-Schure told Access.
Vanity Fair was outraged by the claims saying the photos were "absolutely not" manipulated.

For now, fans and even some other celebs, are just happy to see Beyonce on the cover.
"If you lighten Beyonce's skin, at the end of the day it doesn't matter because she's still gorgeous and makes great records," Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson told us. "It would be different if you just made her white."
While Vanity Fair didn't lighten the image, the practice of retouching magazine photos is being used more and more.
Brandon Kavulla, art director for Best Life magazine, showed us how easy it is to manipulate images with the click of a button.
"If I wanted to make someone a little more tan, as you can see, as I drag this over it gets a little browner," Brandon said from his computer as he easily altered a photo within seconds.

MTV Networks’ LOGO, which targets the gay community, is running into problems with record labels that do not want their music in show produced for the network. One of the new shows on the channel is comedy-drama Noah’s Arc, which includes an all-black cast and is directed by Patrick-Ian Polk. One of the most surprising aspects of taping the show is the availability of music and rejections by labels who do not want to be connected with gay-programming. Polk has tried to clear Kanye West’s music for the show, “and we got flat-out rejected by the label,” Polk said. “I'm a fair person, I get that a lot of times these requests and things don't make it to the artist. But he needs to check his people because that's not cool. The black gay community and even the white gay community are big hip hop fans, so they're missing out on a really big market by being short-sighted.” The news is more surprising when one considers West’s recent comments about homophobia in the music industry. “When I was in high school, I was called ‘Fag’ a lot because of how I walked and other little things,” West said recently. “And what happened was, it made me kind of homophobic, ‘cause it’s like I would go back and question myself , my own feelings.” He added at the time that after finding out his cousin was gay, “It was kind of like a turning point when I was like, Yo, this is my cousin. I love him and I’ve been discriminating against gays. Not just hip-hop, but America just discriminates. And I wanna just, to come on TV and just tell my rappers, just tell my friends, Yo, stop it.” Neither West nor his label, Roc-a-Fella were available for comment at press time.

Every guy wants to be cool, yet not every guy is cool and every girl wants to be around a cool guy and what guy doesn't like a cool chick.
But the truth is that there are no secrets to being cool; it's about who you are and how you behave. But there are things that you can do to bring out the cool in you.
Here are some tips that'll show you how to look and sound cool with your friends. Use them if you need them, and you'll transform yourself into one of the socially adept -- and your friends will look forward to hanging out with you.

Don't overcall-If you're always calling your friends, you're calling too much. There's no perfect ratio, but you should probably call your friends less often than they call you. That way, you'll be in high demand.Nobody wants a friend that's never doing anything except wondering what you're doing.

Have a purpose when you call-Don't call just to chat. Keep phone calls brief. Call once. Leave a message, but only if you need to. If they don't return the call, don't call them back unless it's an emergency. For example, if you're making plans for dinner and want to include them, but they don't call you back, it's their loss. You shouldn't have to run after them. Cool people don't sweat the small stuff.

Dress well-People don't like hanging out with slobs. No, you don't have to wear designer shit to hang out with the guys, but always look presentable and sharp. Remember: We're initially judged on appearances, so always try to look your best.

Be knowledgeable-Ignorance is never bliss. People like to have a buddy who knows a thing or two, especially about a range of subjects, from picking up the opposite sex(or the same) to current events to wines. But don't overdo it. Drop your knowledge when asked, otherwise you'll look like a showoff, and that is not cool.

Be funny-I'm not talking about telling knock-knock jokes or being a clown. But if you've got a sense of humor, let it rip (a little). You want to be funny, but you don't need to be the sole source of amusement. There's a balance. And please, when you tell a good joke, just bask in that accomplishment. Don't muddy the waters by going on and on -- you'll just kill it. You'll be the joker friend and not the cool one.

Don't be a downer-If you're in a bad mood, consider staying home. Guys want to have fun when they're with their friends; nobody wants to be your counselor. Yes, you can tell a close friend about a serious problem (your girlfriend dumped you), but save those talks for serious occasions, not a night out.

Associate with cool people-This one's a no-brainer. If you're always bringing losers to the group, you'll soon be labeled a loser as well. On the other hand, if you're known for bringing cool people around, your coolness stock will skyrocket.

Arrive fashionably late-Arriving early has two drawbacks: You don't get the chance to make an entrance and let others notice you, and you give the impression that you had nowhere else to be. Just don't be too late.

Keep your word-Keeping your promises will show the world that you're dependable -- a rock. But breaking your word will not only tarnish your reputation, it'll cost you some friends. You don't have to promise the world, but when you do give your word, let others know that it's your bond.

Pick up the first round-When everyone is sober, they'll remember who bought the first round. Plus, you'll have the reputation as a person who knows how to get the party started. treating you peeps is cool when you do it once in a while..not too much.This makes you the treater,not the cool one.Cool people are treated.

Organize an event-Once in a while (say two times a year), you should plan an outing, like a ballgame,concert, or dinner party. You call the guys, you get the tickets, you handle everything. Note: Making plans to go to your local strip club doesn't count.

Don't lose your cool... ever!-Nobody wants to see their friend freak out. Bad things will happen and you should react, but you don't have to get all stupid. Keep your composure at all times sweetie,we cool people do that.

PARIS HILTON SAYS HELL NO SHE WON'T GO
Paris Hilton says she isn't giving up "The Simple Life" just yet. "We're shooting Nov. 1," said the 24-year-old hotel heiress, who had a front-row seat at the Louis Verdad fashion show Sunday. "All the networks are fighting over it."
Fox said last week it had canceled the reality show starring Hilton and Nicole Richie. The network said its midseason schedule didn't have a time slot for a fourth season of the show, prompting speculation the feuding ex-friends no longer proved compatible.
Hilton said she and Richie will continue working on "The Simple Life" because other networks want it.
Last week, 20th Century Fox Television, the studio that produces the show, said it hopes "The Simple Life" will move to another network with Hilton and Richie.
"We believe this series ... is still a dynamic and valuable franchise," the studio said. "We hope to be able to announce a new network partner in the coming days."
Bunim-Murray Productions, which produces the show with 20th Century Fox, also released a hopeful statement: "We're very excited about the creative plans for the next group of episodes, and are confident this situation will be remedied quickly."
Hilton's friend Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's 26-year-old daughter, dismissed as "rumor" reports that she had been touted as a replacement for Richie.
But Stewart was coy about doing a future project with Hilton, telling reporters Sunday, "You never know."
In April, Hilton issued a terse statement saying it was "no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it."
Hilton has given no reason for the split.

THE REAL WORLD IS A LITTLE TOUGH ON BRITNEY AND HUBBY
Britney Spears is drinking and smoking again, chasing away the baby blues only three weeks after giving birth. Sources say the 23- year-old, who gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy with son Sean Preston, is miserable because she's overweight and stuck in the house recovering from her C-section.

Worse still, the pop princess seems to be having trouble coping with her role as a new mom — and insiders say breaks into crying jags at the drop of a hat.Said one source: "I think Britney is having a very hard time right now. She hasn't lost the pregnancy weight and she's desperate to get back in superstar shape and resume her career."She has turned to drinking wine to relax, washing away her stress."And while Britney had quit smoking when she became pregnant, the source said she's now smoking more than half a pack of Newport cigarettes a day, hoping it'll curb her appetite and help her lose weight.

Said the source: "She feels sad, fat and is probably insecure about her mothering skills. She wants to be the perfect mom but gets easily freaked out if the smallest thing goes wrong."When the baby's bottle temperature isn't just right or she can't stop his crying or the diaper isn't a perfect fit, she dissolves into tears. She just breaks down crying and moans, 'I can't deal with this.'"Britney has also been sleeping a lot — often late into the morning and early afternoon — since she gave birth on September 14.
And while the pop star is eager to slim down, doctors have told her to take it easy until six weeks after the birth.In lieu of strenuous workouts, Britney is now watching her diet and hoping that, in addition to smoking, her new eating habits will help her shed pounds.The pop star was notorious for pigging out during her pregnancy — but now she's refusing her usual meals of fried chicken or hamburgers and instead opting for a Slim Fast.Revealed the source: "Her hubby Kevin tries to reassure her and tells her she's being way too hard on herself. After all, he tells her, 'You've just had a baby. Give yourself a break.'"Britney was even more down in the dumps when her mother Lynne returned home.

Lynne had been staying with the couple at their Malibu home since Britney came home from the hospital — and friends say the pop star was hoping her mom would stay another month to help care for the baby.When Lynne left, Britney had to hire a full-time nanny to help with baby Sean — while Kevin took on a new role as "Mr. Mom."

"Everyone was expecting Kevin to run off to party and gamble in Las Vegas by now but he's staying very close," said an insider, who added that the 27-year-old is helping prepare bottles, feed the baby and change diapers.To help lift his wife's mood, Kevin even tried to entice Britney's family to visit. Said the source: "So far they've turned him down, saying they're just too busy to drop everything and run out to California."That leaves just Kevin to care for Britney during her fragile state.Added the source: "It's a total adjustment for the couple. PATTI LABELLE MEETS REAL DIVA
There was drama surrounding Patti Labelle’s 60th birthday celebration in the Bahamas Saturday.Absent from the extravaganza were Beyonce, Usher and OutKast, as all three acts pulled out at the last minute. According to Fox 411’s Roger Friedman, the close relationship between the performers and Island Def Jam president, Antonio L.A. Reid – who reportedly has issues with the soul diva – makes it more than a coincidence that they all suddenly cancelled.
“The absence of all these people — as well as Island Def Jam's Carey and former Reid associate Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds — raised a lot of suspicion that arms had been twisted or not so subtle suggestions had been delivered,” wrote Friedman.READ MORE

LIL KIM'S VIDEO DIRECTOR IS A DEADBEAT
Note to Lil' Kim video director Kirk Fraser: You can say "The check's in the mail" only so many times before your pants catch on fire.
Fraser repeatedly promised to make things right after the Daily News reported a month ago that he bounced more than 18 checks to crew members who toiled furiously on the last-minute music video shoots in September, before Kim went to jail.
So far, no good.
"I'm prepared to pursue whatever legal road necessary to solve this problem," producer Heidi Tannenbaum told Lowdown yesterday. "This morning I called the whole crew, including the vendors - probably 50 people altogether - and only three people have gotten new checks."
A second production staffer, who requested anonymity for fear of reprisals, added: "It's been a complete run-around. It's double-talk! They need to pay us. In this business, people will let things go for 30 days, but after that, you owe us the money."
Fraser, who owns the Washington-based production company May 3rd Films, didn't respond to repeated phone calls yesterday.
Yesterday, a spokesman for Kim - who's serving a year-and-a-day sentence at the Federal Detention Center in Philadelphia on a perjury and conspiracy conviction - said his client isn't to blame.
"She has no first-hand knowledge of any debt and has nothing to do with the situation," Ronn Torossian insisted.

THE BOY GEORGE SCANDAL
BOY George hired a male hustler who tried to rob him the morning the cross-dressing Culture Club singer was busted for cocaine possession, PAGE SIX has learned.
George called 911 last Friday morning to report that his Centre Street apartment had been burglarized — but he was arrested when cops found a mound of what appeared to be Bolivian marching powder piled near his computer.
A source said that George called 911 after the hustler he'd ordered up demanded that he hand over all of the money in the house.

"George said no and that he was going to call the police," says our source. "The prostitute said, 'Go ahead and you'll go to jail.' So George freaked out because he was high, called the police, the prostitute left, and George got arrested."
A police source said George did not mention the hustler when he was arrested. His lawyer, Lou Freeman, could not be reached for comment yesterday. But he told The Post last week that the cocaine was not George's, adding, "Tons of people come in and out of his home."

The only person in the apartment besides George when officers arrived was his friend Kyoko Nagami, a Japanese model and drag queen groupie. According to police sources, Nagami flipped on her friend, telling cops there was "a lot more" coke in the bedroom.
George, who a police source said "appeared high" when he was busted, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and filing a false police report. He was released last Saturday after appearing in Manhattan Criminal Court, and was told to return for a Dec. 19 hearing. He has since flown back to London, where he has a home.

"Hollaback" has also been ringing up sales in the telecommunications business. According to Telephia Mobile Audio Report, it is one of three songs by pop divas (along with "Cater 2 U" by Destiny's Child and "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey) that dominated "real-tones" this summer.
But Stefani's song is the overall leader in legal downloads, approaching numbers not yet attained by any other artist.

Kevin Bacon claims the "Today" show bumped him from a scheduled interview segment after producers realized the movie he was promoting was rated NC-17 because of a gay sex scene. The kiss-of-death rating was assigned to director Atom Egoyan's "Where the Truth Lies" over a steamy scene involving Bacon and Colin Firth. "They had me booked on the 'Today' show today, and they canceled it because of the NC-17 rating," Bacon said on Howard Stern's radio show. William C. Davis, 33, of Wadesville, Ind., was arrested in Fargo on Thursday, two days after the talk-show host broadcast his face and offered $100,000 for information leading to his capture.
Jean Rosenthal of Moorhead, Minn., recognized Davis as "Mark," a neighbor of her friend Karie Miller. She called Miller on Wednesday, and the 29-year-old Fargo deli worker discovered the man's identity Thursday morning on a Web site.
"His picture came up and I started shaking so bad, I couldn't hold my coffee," Miller told The Forum of Fargo in Friday editions.
Davis, who was on the FBI's Most Wanted Fugitives list, was one of several fugitive sex offenders shown on Winfrey's program Tuesday. The reward, offered by her production company, applies to fugitives presented on the show and on http://www.oprah.com/ .
Davis faces felony charges of molesting three Indiana boys last year and failing to register as a sex offender. He was convicted of child molestation in 1992.

WHAT KIND OF MOVIE SHIT ARE THESE RAPPERS LIVING??
One day after the stepfather of rapper Beanie Sigel was found shot to death and burned in a South Philadelphia alley, a friend of the deceased was reportedly kidnapped by two to three armed men wearing hooded sweatshirts.
The Associated Press reports that Wallace Moody — who befriended Sigel's stepfather Samuel Derry a few years ago while both were serving prison time — was forced into one of two vehicles that pulled up in front of Moody's North Philadelphia home. Both cars immediately sped off at approximately 6 a.m.
Approximately 24 hours earlier, Derry’s body was discovered in Philadelphia's Mount Airy neighborhood. An autopsy released Wednesday confirmed reports that Derry had first been killed by multiple gunshots before his body was dumped in the alley and set on fire.
Police are now exploring a possible link between Derry’s killing, Moody’s abduction and Sigel’s acquittal last week of attempted murder in the July 2003 shooting of a man outside a West Philadelphia strip club.
"Certainly, it's a concern. We're looking at it," Capt. Mark Everitt of the Northwest Detective Division told the Philadelphia Inquirer of a possible tie between Derry's murder and Moody's abduction. "We have no information to suggest that the two are connected in any way."
Meanwhile, Sigel’s attorney, Fortunato Perri, Jr., told The Associated Press Wednesday: "There's no indication whatsoever that the two are connected. I can't imagine any circumstance [whereby] the recent trial has anything to do with this murder."

Hollywood A-lister Will Smith wants the world to understand that he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith never, ever planned a lavish New Year's Eve celebration at their home to be paid for - to the tune of $625,000 - by corporate sponsors.
"It's not his style," Smith's spokeswoman, PR doyenne Pat Kingsley, told me yesterday, the same day word came that the Smiths had "pulled the plug" on the event after Lowdown pronounced the cheapskate scheme "tacky, tacky, tacky."

Levine's E-mail gushed: "This exclusive occasion offers your brand an opportunity to create and solidify unique one-on-one relationships with Celebrities and key Hollywood influencers in a relaxed and celebratory setting."
But yesterday, Kingsley insisted: "This would just never happen" - not even to raise money for the Will and Jada Smith Family Foundation. "They work very hard for the charity, but it's always associated with the work - like if there's a movie that can benefit the charity. But they're not going to open up their home."
Flying Television's Levine, meanwhile, advised this column: "I have no comment. Never E-mail me again - about anything."

LINDSAY LOWDOWN HAS NEW CRITIC
It's convicted felon Michael Lohan, who - in a letter from the Collins Correctional Facility outside Buffalo - raves about daughter Lindsay's new single, "Confessions of a Broken Heart."

In a lawsuit filed by Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Detroit, Em’s publishing companies – Michigan-based Eight Mile Style and Martin Affiliated – are seeking a court order to prohibit Colorado-based Cellus USA, Georgia-based FanMobile, New York-based Nextones.com, New Jersey-based MyPhoneFiles and New Jersey-based MatrixM LLC from selling the ringtones online.
Lawyers for the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers III, said they also plan legal action against karaoke companies that sell Eminem songs without getting the proper licenses.
“This is a big business. We're talking hundreds of thousands of dollars a year," said Howard Hertz, a lawyer representing the plaintiffs.

WESLEY SNIPES' MAURY POVICH MOMENT
"Blade" star Wesley Snipes has been cleared of claims that he fathered a child by an Indiana woman, his attorney said yesterday.
The city is expected to announce at a Family Court hearing today that it's withdrawing an arrest warrant for the married, 43-year-old father that would have forced him to submit to a DNA test.
DNA tests conducted earlier this month show that another man is the father of the 4-year-old boy, said Snipes attorney Robert Bernhoft.
Snipes repeatedly denied he was the father - but refused on principle to submit to a DNA test.
The city jumped into the case last year on behalf of an Indiana Child Support Enforcement agency, which was pursuing claims made by Lanise Pettis, 33.
Snipes dismissed Pettis as a "mentally ill crack addict" and said his reputation among friends and business associates was damaged by the claim.
The actor said Pettis made similar accusations against other celebrities and became delusional after watching him in "Blade."
A federal civil rights suit Snipes filed last year in Manhattan against the Indiana agency is pending.
A spokeswoman for the city's corporation counsel declined to comment yesterday.
"This was a horrifying breach of duty to entertain Lanise Pettis' delusions," Bernhoft said. "[Snipes] believes he finally got a fair shake. He's been waiting for this day to come."
Snipes is expected to appear at today's hearing.

In yesterday's health and fitness article I talked about the popular and seemingly too good to be true but very effective exercise routine called 5 Factor Fitness favored by people such as Benjamin Bratt,Halle Berry, Eve and many others.The routine boasts by doing 5, 5 minute intervals of strength training exercice you could burn and tone quickly.
So I'd like to give you a couple of exercises that you can do for 5 minutes each,BE SURE TO CHANGE IT UP EACH DAY!

If you want a muscle to grow bigger and stronger, you have to literally force it to adapt. And muscle adapts to very specific stress. It adapts to performing a great amount of work per unit of time. We shortened this concept to a single word: intensity.

UPPER BODY

CHEST
bench press
Do one set of 8 to 10 reps with a wide-grip bench press or wide-grip inclined bench press. chest press on exercise ball
Lie supine(on your back) on exercise ball with shoulders and head supported on the ball, and with butt and abs tight to form a bridge. Start with weights directly over chest, elbows soft. Slowly bend elbows and lower arms until your elbows are at 90 degree angles, using your legs, back and abs to balance on the ball. Press arms straight without locking, then lower back to starting position.Use enough weight/resistance that you can ONLY complete the desired number of repetitions. If you are lifting heavy, use a spotter!
This exercise works the chest, arms and shoulders, as well as the back, glutes and abs.

As many push ups as you can do effectively for 5 minutes without stopping.

Kneel on floor or sit on a bench and grasp a dumbbell. Place the back of the upper arm on the inner thigh and lean into the leg to raise the elbow a bit. Raise dumbbell to front of shoulder and then lower until arm is almost fully extended.

These are like pushups for your triceps. They are very difficult and you can easily twerk your shoulder if you're not careful. Start by sitting on a chair with hands right next to hips. Bring hips in front of chair (almost touching) and bend elbows to no lower than 90 degrees. Push back up without locking elbows.

Use medium-heavy dumbbells. Start with arms out to the side, elbows bent at 90 degree angles (arms should look like a goal post). Slowly press right arm up, then left arm up then lower both arms back to starting position. Alternate arms for 1 to 3 sets of 12-16 repetitions, with a 20-30 second rest between sets.
Front Raise with Dumbbells

Hold light-medium weights with arms straight down, palms face the thighs. Slowly lift arms up to shoulder level keeping elbows slightly bent. Exhale and lower back down. This exercise can also be done with a light barbell or, if you're using heavier dumbbells, you can alternate arms.
Lateral Raise
Hold light-medium weights with arms in front of you, palms facing each other. Slowly lift arms straight out to the side, elbows slightly bent, abs in and stopping at shoulder level. Exhale and lower back down. Repeat for 1 to 3 sets of 12-16 repetitions, with a 20-30 second rest between sets.

HEALTH AND FITNESS...THE HALLE BERRY WORKOUT

So the script,direction,plot and production of Catwoman was awful but the real star of that movie was none other than Halle Berry's body..that needed it's own award.The way she fit that tight dominatrix like cat suit,exposing her ripped abs and sculpted bootie,it could have turned the town whore into a settled down lesbian.
Wonder how she did that and continues to look good from award show to award show 3 words...5 Factor Fitness.I can personally say that this diet/exercise routine is fabulous,my own trainer has incorporated it into my workouts and I look even better.The great thing about the diet is you don't need some expensive fitness club membership or a personal trainer,I do because I'm lazy and I can afford it..but if you're motivated and ready here it is:

Let's be honest. Even without a personal trainer, Halle Berry would still probably look amazing. So how does 5 Factor work for those of us who are just starting out or are unsatisfied with our present workout and diet regimen? Author and trainer Harley Pasternak has several tips for getting started with 5-Factor:

1. Do It Today People always say they want to change, he says, but they always vow they'll do it after Christmas or when the kids are in school. "The first thing you can start with is nutrition. After you read the book, you can immediately put it down and say, 'I'm going to eat differently from this moment on.'"
2. Exercise Now There's no scientific evidence that says working out in the morning is better than any other time, Pasternak says, but he recommends it because you'll never have the excuse that you got sidetracked later in the day.
3. Introductory Phase You don't need to be able to lift the same amount of weight as Halle or at the same intensity for 5-Factor to work. Pasternak includes an introductory phase that uses a lower volume, shorter workout with high repetitions for beginners. "It's a shorter, briefer primer, so that you're not so sore after the workouts that it turns you off continuing the program," he says.
4. Start Simple Halle worked up to some complex exercises, but Pasternak says he starts off all of his clients with simple movements that require nothing more than dumbbells and a bench. From those movements, he adds variation. "I have people doing a flat dumbbell chest press on chest day. Maybe as they become more advanced, I make it an inclined dumbbell chest press."
5. No Plateaus With so many opportunities for variation, Pasternak says 5-Factor eliminates the plateaus that sometimes occurs with other workout plans. "For example, Phase One and Phase Five are cardio," he says. "You can do any kind you want. It can be running, skipping, walking, flight of stairs, cycling, and you can change that as many times and as often as you would like." 6. Seeing Results So many diet and fitness plans guarantee a specified weight loss in a certain number of weeks. Because weight can be misleading, Pasternak doesn't believe in using scales except in extreme cases. "Pursue the program, and the results will ensue," he says. "That's my philosophy with all my clients. That's why I don't keep a scale or a tape measure or anything like that. It's how you look and how you feel."

HERE'S THE BASICS
Pasternak, whose celebrity clientele also includes Eve, Orlando Bloom, Benjamin Bratt and Val Kilmer, boasts a workout and nutrition plan that skips the carb counting, food measuring and time-consuming exercise routines. His 5-Factor plan is made up of five, 25-minute workouts per week (all of which can be done using only a set of dumbbells and a bench) and eating five healthy meals per day.
"The 5-Factor Fitness plan," he says, "is the product of several years of being a science nerd, a fitness nut and an exercise and nutrition scientist for the military, and then having the opportunity to work with a lot of actors who have very little time and have to see results."
Time is one of the main reasons the plan works. "This is something that is a lifestyle," Pasternak says. "So, regardless of what your needs are at the time, I tell people that this is a plan that is doable every week for the rest of your life. You don't have to go to the gym; you can if you want. It's only 25 minutes long. You always have the time, and the meals are not extreme, so you can always do this."

THE WORKOUT
The workout component of 5-Factor is based on five, five-minute phases:
Phase 1: Cardio warm-up
Phase 2: Upper-body strength exercise
Phase 3: Lower-body strength exercise
Phase 4: Core (midsection) exercise
Phase 5: Fat-burning cardio
The final cardio phase can be extended for as long as 30 minutes, depending on your goals and timeline, but does not have to be for the plan to work.
"If I have someone who has a film coming up, and we've got to expedite our goals, then I'll have them do it," Pasternak says. "If it's a lifestyle thing, where someone has maybe 10 pounds to lose, we gradually weave it in."

WHAT TO EAT
The nutrition portion of 5-Factor is just as simple as the fitness routine, Pasternak says.
Eating five meals a day is optimal for keeping your blood sugar stable and metabolism in check. Each meal should fulfill these five criteria:
1. The main dish should be a low-fat, quality protein.
2. It should include a low-to-moderate glycemic carbohydrate (think beans, vegetables, sweet potatoes, wild rice).
3. You should have five to ten grams of fiber per meal.
4. Only healthy fat should be added to the meal.
5. Always include a non-sugared beverage.
Pasternak has created more than 100 recipes, all of which take no longer than five minutes to prepare, and most use no more than five common ingredients.
Although Pasternak advises eating more even when many other diets out there support consuming less, Pasternak says the program is successful because it's a lifestyle. "I think the eating component is the most important part of the program," he says, "because it's a voice of moderation in a time where every diet out there is very extreme and not sustainable. So you don't have to cut your carbs. You don't have to weigh your food. These are all unnatural acts that cannot be sustained year in and year out. They're not fun, and they're difficult."

CHEATING IS OK
Another reason supporters of the program say it works is because ‑- get this ‑- cheating is allowed! Yep, that's right. One day a week Harley says it's okay to eat anything you want. Whether that's a grande white chocolate mocha from Starbucks or a Big Mac from Mickey D's.

A source tells The National Enquirer that Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline expect to make $3 million for airing footage of her birth to Sean Preston on the second installment of their reality TV show. The couple also scored a $2 million deal for a subsequent video that will document the entire story of the baby boy's birth, including every detail from the time Britney left home, entered the hospital, had the baby, went back home and their first weeks at home with the baby. JAMIE Foxx dissed the urban music industry heavyweights gathered at the Power Summit in the Bahamas last weekend by canceling his headlining gig at the last minute. Handlers for the Oscar-winning "Ray" star — who's about to release an R&B album on J Records — told confab organizers that Foxx flaked because he was "sick" in Miami. But whatever the reason, his no-show caused plenty of grumbling. The red-hot star missed performances by Kanye West, Ludacris, Busta Rhymes, Ghostface Killa and Redman. In addition to the Power Summit, which drew the likes of Jay-Z and Russell Simmons, the Grand Lucaya resort in Freeport hosted a hip-hop-flavored Heineken House Party that ended with a concert by Ja maican superstar Sean Paul and old-school Brooklyn rappers Black Sheep.

Hilton — who ditched her fiancé Paris Latsis, 23, a month ago but only formally announced it last week — has been romancing Mary-Kate Olsen's boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos, 20, whose princely family makes the Latsis clan, worth $7.5 billion according to Forbes, seem nouveau riche.
On Friday, the new duo showed up at Spider Club in L.A. and "made out all night and closed the place down," our spy said.
The next night, the couple was at Element with Paris' sister Nicky. Paris "tried to get the club to turn the lights down so no one could see her and Stavros make out," another spywitness recalled. "She also got the club to clear out the bathrooms for her and her friends so that no 'fans' would be in there with her."
Insiders predict Hilton's latest pairing — the party girl was also spotted cozying up to her music producer, Scott Storch, last month — won't last because the reserved Niarchos clan is so publicity-shy they didn't like Stavros dating Olsen.
"They haven't seen anything yet," snickered our source.
The Stavros conquest is also threatening Hiltie's friendship with Olsen and her sister Ashley because Mary-Kate is said to feel betrayed. In fact, a lot of Hilton's famous friends seem to be flocking elsewhere. "One Tree Hill" star Sophia Bush, Jessica Simpson, Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Nicole Richie and other young Hollywood hotties have all stopped hanging out with Hilton for various reasons. However, Paris can console herself with her jewelry. We hear the hotel heiress intends to keep the $5 million, 24-carat diamond ring Latsis gave her.
Meanwhile, the entire Hilton family is up in arms over a planned Jerry Oppenheimer book on their clan.
Oppenheimer, whose recent expose on Anna Wintour, "Front Row: Anna Wintour," hit the best-seller lists, has been calling friends and family of Rick, Kathy, Paris and Nicky Hilton for a tome he is planning to do for HarperCollins.
Kathy Hilton has told friends, "If anyone participates in the book they will be banned from the family," and has even threatened several people, telling them, "I can make your life very difficult [if you help Oppenheimer]. I am a very powerful woman."
